AN: Regarding Xana's Monsters I'm doing a lot of cut and paste from the Code Lyoko webesite, That way I know the monsters names are spelled right.
As Aelita walked back from the Dressing Room (yes that is the name) she hung the Ranko costume on the rack where the Aelita costume was when she came in and the Wizard made a decision to let her go. After all he had told her if she chose the costume she got the life that went with it and he wasn't like the guy that ran the Needful Things store.
Aelita looked at him and blankly said, "Is there anything else Master?"
The Wizard shook his head, "No, you can leave."
As Aelita walked out of Spells R'Us she and Ranko merged into one being, her clothes became a mix of Ranko's reddish pink shirt and Aelita's pink skirt, and her cell phone rang, "Yes."
"Aelita where are you? We need you to get to Juuban Park right away, Xana's attacking." Jeremie Ryoga Belpois' voice rang out from her phone.
"Okay Jeremie I'm in the mall, I'll be right there. Where are the others?"
"Yumi and Ulrich are almost there, but Odd said she had to put up Midori-chan first."
"Alright, see you in a little bit Jeremie." She hung up her phone and brushed her hand over the star shaped bracelet, she glowed pink for a minute and when the glow faded she was in her pink Lyoko jumpsuit and had pink fairy wings growing out of her back.
Ten minutes later she was flying over the park looking at a battlefield with the Sailor Senshi flung in every direction and shook her head, 'We told them they couldn't fight Xana but will they listen? NoOOo, If they got a clue and stayed away this wouldn't happen every time.'
Odd "Kodachi" Della-Roba spoke up, "Hey, Ranko you spot anything?"
"Not unless you count nine downed Sailor Senshi, no."
"Again? You'd think they'd learned by now they can't battle Xana's monsters." Kodachi said over the radio.
Ranko nodded, "You'd think, it's not like they ever do."
That got a laugh from Kodachi as Ryoga shook his head, "Do I even want to know what you find funny about this?"
"Ryoga just think of it as a 'Girl Thing' and drop it." Ranko demanded.
"I think the girls are rubbing off on you." Ryoga muttered, this was followed by much giggling on Ranko and Kodachi's part.
Ulrich "Ukyo" Stern spoke up here, "Anybody seen any sign of Xana or Herb (Wilma "Herb" Dunbar)?"
Yumi "Xain Pu" Ishiyama, "Not tonight, but it seems to be too quiet out here."
Ranko nodded, "I was thinking the same thing, the park's quiet."
Ukyo said it, "Yeah, a little too quiet."
Xain added, "This smells of a trap. Ryoga you got us on visual?"
"There's nothing out there guys."
Ranko whispered, "Five, four, three, two, one..." as she said one a bright light seeped through the area and suddenly they were surrounded.
"Guys I've lost you off my scope," Ryoga yelled in panic.
"Ryoga get you butt down here your no good to us up there." Ranko yelled, then turned to the monsters, "Now is this the part you get your butts kicked?"
Then the fight was joined, it was easy really, just hit the Eye of Xana on the monsters. Ukyo was fighting Kankrelats, they have an indescribable form, other than these are dangerous creatures with short legs! It is neither their appearance nor their speed that make them dangerous enemies, but it is their precise aiming and powerful laser beams, and Bloks, Bloks are very fast monsters that look like cubes on legs. Their heads have four faces and each face possesses one eye. If the first eye is their organ of control, the others are shooting weapons: laser beams, frozen rays and circular beams of fire. Our heroes must hit the first eye to win against the Bloks. The eye of control is their only weak point.
Kodachi was fighting a mix of Kongers, eel like enemies in the digital sea. The Eye of Xana is on a small yellow pod in it's blue jiggly body, Hornets, one Hornet can hide another. They never move alone and they monsters that look like giant wasps and have a dangerous stinger that throws venom. The Eye of Xana is found on their "shell" and as soon as it is hit, the Hornets self-destruct, and a few Kalamar, the Kalamar is a squid-like monster. It has an oval, black/grey body with four thin feet sticking out of it. The Eye of XANA is located in the middle of The Kalamar's body. It is a fairly slow monster, but more durable to compensate, taking three torpedoes to destroy while the others can be destroyed with just one. It attacks with a large drill attached to its underside. Its eye is hidden beneath the casing on its head, which opens whenever the drill is in use spaced around her.
The WOOMPH-CRASH of a hammer signaled the arrival Sissi "Akane" Delmas. She quickly went for the Creepers, Creepers are not very pleasant monsters. With no hands or legs, they look like snakes slithering across the floor, but they always keep their heads high to be on the look-out for the Lyoko Warriors. Their single laser beam is very powerful, and often unvirtualized our heroes in the Fifth Sector.
Ranko was fighting a hoard of Mantas, the Flying Mantas are superb flying monsters that look like rays. They are often in Sector 5 around the Celestial Vaulting and generally move in groups. They are white and navy blue and have on their back the symbol of their weak point. They also have powerful laser beams with which they shoot at our heroes. Sometimes Odd is able to climb on their backs and to control them like flying carpets, Tarantulas, Tarantulas are impressive monsters owing to their big size and power. They move alone or in groups on their four hind legs and use their 2 front legs as frightening shooting weapons. And ten or so Sharks, The Shark is black and white, and it looks like a shark with a long fin on its back. It looks similar to a Manta. It is one of the newest of the monsters and is related to the Konger. Instead of firing a normal Laser like most monsters, Sharks fire what appear to be torpedoes from their mouth.
Xain had her hands full with Kankrelats, Hornets, a few creepers and four or five MegaTanks, MegaTanks seem to be particularly invincible with their armor and unshakable appearance. To win against these monsters, the heroes must aim at the MegaTanks' Eye of Xana located inside their shell, in the middle of the aiming glass of the elliptic laser under their metal spheres.
Ryoga zipped and sometimes plowed through the ranks of the Krabs, Krabs look like giant shellfish with a red craw fish color and are rarely alone. They have two lasers: one simple and one in the stomach, which allow them to aim at several targets at once, the Lyoko Warriors. The Eye of Xana is in the middle of their shell, trying to get to the Scyphozoa, The Scyphozoa roams everywhere on Lyoko even if we can often find it in Sector 5. It is a nearly indestructible monster of Xana that has misleading looks. It remains the most dangerous of the Lyoko Warriors' enemies despite its nice colors, nonchalance and magnificent tentacles. Its goal is to catch the Lyoko Warriors in order to steal something from them, i.e. Ukyo's manhood, Ranko's memories, Xain's humanity, Akane's strength, Ryoga's brains, and Kodachi's sanity.
Xana, watching through Herb's eyes, smirked. It was all going to plan.
