It encompassed Masane Amaha like a fine, gossamer shroud.
The last thing she saw and thought of before the light absorbed her being was the little seashells Rihoko gave her at the beach some time ago.
It gave her peace...her ordeal finally at a end.
Or was it?...
In the aftermath of Masane Amaha's sacrifice, the Witchblade separated from her and went elsewhere...waiting for a new host to bond with....
