The summoning ended abruptly and so the three erinyes were cast back across the planes and hurled into the Abyss. More presisely, they were dumped back into their lavishly furnished seraglio apparment in the burning city of Dis.
"I hate it when that happens," Desiree groused as she untangled herself from her "sister's" limbs.
"I think I'm gonna hurl," Deborah muttered. She'd never liked planar traveling and summoning was a bitch.
"Later," Delilah snapped. "Dispater's not going to be pleased to lose a disciple. Do any of us have a lien on that dragon?"
"I think so," Desiree said. "Maybe ..."
"Quick," Deborah snapped. "To the scrying chamber."
After defeating the cheif goblin in personal combat, Ranma found mopping up the rest of the opperation to be almost routine. Demoralised, or maybe heartened, by the death of the monster who'd lead them, the goblins surrendered without further resistance. Their former prisoners, and Tarre, were most satisfied to watch the goblins locked in the remaining cages.
Tarre had been a just a wyrmling when tortured by goblins; a tiny creature barely the size of a housecat -extremely powerful for her size but still just a tiny creature. Looming over caged goblins cheered her up a little, but not as much as might be expected. She was distressed at the abrupt disappearance of her new friends. She hoped they hadn't wandered off into the jungle.
"Can I kill them," she whined. "Can I, pleeeese!?"
"No, Tarre," Ranma said firmly, "and that's an order!" He disliked using the gease to order her around -and mostly it was unessesary as she tried so hard to be good of her freewill- but he didn't want any accidents. "They surrendered and we'll show them true justice."
It was unlikely, but there might be a few goblins who had been pressed into service. They'd be sorted out under, question by clerics, wizards and psions, and sentenced according to degree of guilt. The lucky few would be geased into indentured service, but unlike the intent for their slaves, would be treated well and able to earn their freedom. The majority, however, would be executed under full mercy.
"But they're evil nasty bad goblins," Tarre protested. A lot of freed captives glanced at her in amazement.
"Awe, comeon Tarre. You know that argument won't work with me," Ranma observed and caressed her snout. "You did very good today. You were very brave. Don't spoil it now."
Tarre's wings quivered and her tail thumped the ground in pleasure. A deep purr thrummed in her throat.
"You see, slut," Mira turned on Molly. "Everything is under control. There was no need for you to get out of somebody's bed."
The teifling huffed. "Don't think you'll get out of this so easily, lizard brain. Poor Tarre could have been hurt! You had no right to drag her along. This jungle is no place for a sweet little kid like her."
Ranma sighed and turned to the former captives.
