• Ryouga had challenged him. Supposedly the guy had this new "unbeatable" technique.
• that Traveling Sorcerer guy was supposed to stop by and examine his curse.
• Valentine's Day. Akane's in the kitchen making "giri-choco". Leave. Leave now. Training trip sounds really good.
• he was meeting some new "fiancee" that pops had arranged and forgotten about. How many times had he been sold anyway?
• some other plotline came about.
