The New Training: Ranma Goes to China [Episode 210008]

(Author's Note: This is my first fanfic, so please have mercy!)

As Ranma got up, the first thing he noticed was the lack of Akane standing over him with a large bucket of water, nor the sound or Kasumi shuffling downstairs. What he did notice was Genma packing up their stuff. “What are you doing, pop?” asked Ranma. “Get ready to go, boy! We’re leaving. I’m sure Tendo doesn’t want a ‘cheater like me’ occupying his house.” “But pop, aren’t ya a cheater?” “That’s not the point, boy!” replied Ranma’s father, “The point is, he just doesn’t trust me. Anyways, time to go!” And with that, Genma kicked his boy out of his futon and into the street.

“Quit lagging, boy. We’ve got to get to China!” “Uh, huh, and why should I go?” “Because I’ve already reserved you a seat on this fine vessel bringing you there.” With a trick sweep under Ranma to get him in the air, he then kicked him onto a tiny 5x4 ft raft with a tattered sail, and pushed off towards China.

Meanwhile… “WHERE AM I NOW!?”, yelled Ryoga, the eternally lost boy. , he thought while scanning his terrain, which happened to be a immensely small island with a single hunched-over coconut tree, completely surrounded by a raging sea. In his rage, he yelled into the sky, “Ranma, this is all your fault!” when a foot came down and slammed into his face, at the exact time it started raining. “Hey, P-Chan, how is it my fault you have the worst sense of direction possible?” screamed the red-haired girl to the small black piglet. “Ranma, what do you think your doing!? Get back here!” read one of Genma’s panda signs. Ranma grabbed the thrashing pig and hopped back onto the raft.

“Hey, Kasumi, have you seen Ranma or Mr. Saotome? They’re not in their room.” “No, I haven’t seen them all morning. I wonder where they can be?” As they stood wondering, Nabiki walked up and stated nonchalantly, “Maybe this has something to do with it.” She handed them a note. “WHAT!?,” screamed Soun. “That’s what it says, daddy,” said Akane. “How dare he just go off to China and only leave a note!” Meanwhile, outside… “Aiyah! Where Airen go?” “That will cost 500 yen.” Shampoo grumbled as she pulled out some change to get information out of Nabiki. Nabiki counted the change, glad that Shampoo mistaked a 100-yen piece for a 10 piece, adding up to 590. “It appears he left for China last night. Some training trip or something.”

“Grandmother! Grandmother!” shouted Shampoo, running into the Nekohaten to get ready to go to China. “What is it, Shampoo?” “Too, too good news! Ranma go to China, just so he can meet me at my homeland!” “Let’s get going, then, Shampoo. We don’t wish to keep him waiting, now do we?” “Grandmother right, let’s go!” Just as Shampoo and Cologne ran out of the Nekohatan, Mousse ran into the ‘CLOSED’ sign on the door. “What’s this?” Mousse thought out loud while fumbling for his glasses. “Shampoo’s gone to China? I’ve got to find her!”

• Ranma arrives in China...
• ...Just to have to fight Ryoga.
• Shampoo arrives and goes after Ranma.
• All of the above
• The Ever-Growing Something Else
