While influence on the present Earth was somewhat dead, the situation is not the same on Jade. Bastet and Sekhmet were working doubly hard to increase their number of follower’s among the population on Jade.
Bastet was more successful as her policy was VERY open. Pray to me, don’t harm cats, women and children for any unjust cause. Have a great time and be sure to celebrate for every little good thing in life. And remember to use protection if you don’t want kids yet.
Sekhmet was a little stricter. Train hard, take up all warrior crafts you can handle and spill the blood of any enemies who dare attack temples and lands of Bastet and especially our own. And make sure those horny idiots at Bast’s take the GODDAMN contraceptives! Sheesh! Why is it that we have to brew it for them?
On Jade, both sister religions did not really have real armies, mostly militias and very skilled guards and hunters. But that soon changed when Sekhmet discovered her analogues in both the Pokegirl Universe. It was an understatement to say she was not pleased. Then she discovered her status as only a servant of Ra in the Sargate universe and non-existent in Faerun. She was pissed off and ready to declare war.
Assembling a big enough army and getting the approval from father would take a while though. It was time to get an avatar powerful enough to gather some new followers and really bring the name Sekhmet to those universes. Now an avatar, which mortal to choose for this task? Those on Jade would simply not do as they were needed there or not suitable for leadership, additionally, Sekhmet felt that they should not be technophobic.
Seeing minor kami and distant nephew, Tycho Besa Medjai heading over to Tolitir’s bar gave her the idea of seeking the diminutive owner for advice.
(In Tolitir’s Bar)
“Ko-chan! What brings you here?”
“Aunt Bast. Tolitir.”
Tycho stands at 4ft 9, no surprise as he descended from the pygmy cat god, Bes and Nekomatas. He is the embodiment of Maneki Nekos as well as over-protective older brothers.
He appears to be a calico, white with a black patch on his back and head and an orange patch over his left eye and ear. The orange patch however is apparently bleached though. The next striking feature would be that his left eye is a ball of fire constantly changing shades to the colors of the rainbow. He wears no shirt but bandoliers of ammunition and several firearms.
“There’s no need to be so formal Ko-chan. Get him a white Russian Tolitir. Are you still hunting for Niou?”
‘sigh’
“Yes.”
The pygmy kami took a seat in the mostly empty bar. Idly taking off some of his larger firearms and resting them against the bar top.
“You need to relax a little Ko-chan. Besides, Anna is old enough to know what she wants.”
“I still don’t like that fox. Anyway, the duty falls to me as the responsible relative since Meis is too young to watch out for his older sister.”
“Now don’t say that Tycho. Anna is a lady and can do whatever she wishes.”
“Aunt Sekhmet. I’m still going to hunt him down and shoot him.”
“Fine, but you know Anna will still heal him.” Sekhmet said as she took the seat next to Bast, “Anyway, I have a little errand I want you to run for me.”
‘twitch’
“And that is?”
“Gather for me an army, I want them all weres, ebony or with the capacity for Luna Rave, they must not be technophobes. Make them an offer they won’t refuse. Now Tolitir, Bast, I need to discuss some things with you…”
