Much like his mother back in the Star Trek Universe, the Collective was telling him to create companions from the females he had known when he was still Ranma Saotome. In other words his fiancees and the other two Tendo daughters.
Part of Ranma was going 'why me', but the other half understand the need for companionship. The Collective had told him, he was meant to become his mother's companionship before his Borg Cube was thrown out of his native reality and into the one he grew up.
The assimilation of the girls had to be done differently then the standard assimilation. The part of his human teenage mind couldn't accept the girls being completely covered in borg armor that would forever cover their natural beauty. A new standard assimilation protocol for the female gender had to be created to preserve a woman's natural beauty.
It took Ranma only about 27.001 seconds to create the new female standard assimilation protocol. Like himself all future female borg drones will also gain the special set of nanoprobes made to clean their hair and prevent their hair from growing beyond what looked good with their haircut. Their nanoprobes that were supposed to sustain their skin were ordered to not change their skin tone. Each new female drone had an unassimilated Seven of Nine like eye sensor attached instead of the traditional bulky eye sensor. Lastly a new set of nanoprobes will be injected into the woman's body to create and grow borg armor under their skin, thus offering the standard borg armor protection, while preserving the woman's natural beauty (also leaving the main torso of the woman body nude and uncovered, the borg don't believe in clothing).
It was finally time to collect his female companions, he had the cube's sensors scanning Nerima to locate his chosen female companions to locate them for the Borg transporters to beam them into his cube and begin their assimilation into the Borg Collective.
