Lamp Of Mihoshi - Elf Help: High Elf, Lo Pan?! [Episode 210812]

by Kestral

"Lo Pan?" asked Ranma.

"Lo Pan," said an old ghoul WHAK! well-seasoned Amazon Elder as she leapt from some place of concealment to sniff at the foodstuffs cooking on the grill. "A great warrior from centuries ago who was defeated by the first emperor Qin Shi Huang, aka Ying Zheng."

"Where'd YOU come from?" asked Nabiki.

"China, I thought you knew that by now," remarked Cologne. "According to legend, Lo Pan was cursed to live as a ghostly form bereft of flesh until he can find a girl with eyes of jade."

"That can't be common," said Ranma.

"It isn't," said Cologne.

"So he's pretty good as a martial artist?" asked Ranma.

"Yes, and he is personally served by three lieutenants known as the Storms. Lightning, Thunder, and Rain." Cologne came away from the grill, now holding a triple beef cheeseburger that Dagwood Bumstead might have envied.

"Mffff mffff!" said Genma, stuffing himself in the backyard. His mouth sufficiently full of grilled portobello and chicken and slices of veggies that you couldn't even tell if he was being agreeable or objecting to something.

"RANMA!" yelled Ryoga. "Don't think I'm going to let you go off into deep space and face an ancient martial arts master without me! I'll PROVE that I'm a better martial artist than you!"

"Are you sure about that?" asked Ranma. "What if you get lost? Lost in space? Pigs in space? Lost pigs in space?"

"Quit while you're ahead," advised Cologne.

"Great," said Ranma. "So... who else is going?"
