Getting to the ancient and mysterious training grounds of Jusenkyou, Ranma stared out dully over the misty valley. Pretty much the entire area of China they were in was mostly mountain and mist shrouded valleys.
Worse, this was sounding like yet another bone-headed stunt by Genma.
Wonder of wonders though a pudgy little guy came out to greet them and to Ranma’s amazement the guy actually spoke a little Japanese. Considering they were in China, finding someone that could speak their language was a nice part of the day any time it happened.
This particular little pudgy Chinese guy happened to be trying to warn them or something. Bad news wasn’t what Genma wanted to hear, but Ranma was always ready to hear some sort of warning for what sort of idiotic scheme Genma was going to pull next. As far as Ranma could tell his entire training schedule was just surviving whatever almost random thing the old man pulled and the bald weasel always astounded Ranma with the bizarre cursed or stolen bits of mystical trouble Genma could find.
The Chinese guy seemed to be warning them about something of the place, and while Ranma knew sometimes people over reacted with the danger warnings, the way Genma was pushing the poor guy set Ranma on edge.
With the guide following Genma into the valley, Ranma tried talking to the guide to see if he could get some answers. “So what’s so bad about this place?”
The guide unfortunately had some trouble speaking their language, but Ranma was just happy he didn’t have to bother with whatever dialect of Chinese they spoke in this particular region. “Valley great cursed, no go into valley.”
Ranma looked at the guy and weighed the options. Some details on the curse would help convince him since locals loved to scare outsiders away from places with such warnings. On the other hand, this guy didn’t seem like that type.
Ranma didn’t get to find out as Genma surprised him with a shoulder toss into the valley. “Stop chattering and get to training boy!”
Annoyed with the interruption Ranma knew the old fart was up to something. Unlimbering his pack he dropped it down to land on a dry patch of ground as he sailed overhead. Flying almost two hundred meters down the valley, Ranma was almost impressed with how much anger the old idiot had tossed him with. Fortunately, landing in a little pool of water sounded like the least horrible thing the bald weasel had done to him over the years.
Hitting the bottom of the pool on his knees as he sent up a big splash of water that emptied half of the pool, Ranma stood up in the shallow water, glaring at his old man as he wiped his wet bangs away from his face.
A stream of dark red on his hand distracted him, making Ranma wonder if he’d split his forehead open crashing through the bamboo or something. Curiously it seemed to be his hair that was a vivid blood red, so Ranma pulled his pony tail around, confirming his new crimson hair color.
Almost numbly he looked down now, noticing the very obvious fleshy orbs pushing his gi top open. Knowing what they were, she guessed it was more like her gi top. Even pulling her top closed she was barely able to cover her nipples, the added bust size overfilling the top too much to close completely.
Walking out of the pool while glaring at the distant form of her father, Ranma did take notice of the guide winding his way towards her along the paths between the pools. “Young miss, no touch other pools. All springs is much cursed.”
