She glared at him for a moment before saying, “I Challenge you! For Mamo-chan, for my friends!”
The pigtailed man gave her a lazy grin in response as he continued to lay beneath the bridge, “Was hoping you’d say that.”
Slowly he stood up, finger twirling around that first card again, holding up the tuxedoed man for the girl to see as he would then shift his fingers and the one card became four, “So, what stakes hmmm?”
“I told you,” the glared back at him as she held firmly into a shining shard of crystal, “For Mamo-chan and my friends!”
“Yeah yeah Usako,” he waved his hand dismissively as he casually, “That’s what you want from ME,” that casual devilish grin returned to his lips as he would suddenly release those fingers and grin as they faded from view, “But, what’re you putting Up against them hmmm?”
The blonde girl glared back at him, thought and reason not exactly remaining too terribly prevalent in her mind as she glared hard back at him, “You’re going to give me them back!”
“You’re not listening little Usako,” he spoke in slow, deliberate words as he walked up to her, the hard blue of his eyes boring down into her own as he reached out and pushed a finger against her chest, “You issued the challenge, but unless you come up with an acceptable stake from your side, I WILL make this a challenge for your spark.”
He leaned in then, his words burning past his lips in a cold hiss of breath, “And I will take you, and the rest of your friends as Mine anyway.”
Eyes widened, she took a step back, fear and panic flashing through her eyes before her courage surged forward as she glared back, “You are such a JERK Ranma!”
“Yeah yeah, not like I haven’t heard it before,” he smirked lightly before he leveled his eyes firmly on her own, “If you’re not going to name the stakes, I will.”
“My four against your six, winner has a complete set,” He smirked slightly then before giving Usagi a grin, “Well, an ALMOST complete set in my case.”
She instantly paled in horror as the implications of the bet slammed down on her, those wide eyes beginning to brim with the slight tinge of silvery tears, “How can you be so cruel?!”
“Welcome to the life of a spark Usako. It’s eat or be eaten here.”
“In that case, I choose to…”
