Right now though, she was too close to give up, as she could finally see her sisters. No matter if they were now changed, or if she was to be made into a creature whose purpose was to please men, there was a bond between them that she could never, and would never, banish. So, even though she'd never been one for sneaking around, and was terrified of what she might find in this house, she crept about, hoping to catch a glimpse of her sisters. Being with them was what she really wanted, but she didn't know if she could manage that. If she could just see them, then she could satisfy herself with the knowledge that they were healthy.
Aware of the possibility that the wrong sort of movement could cause her to be caught, she slipped up towards the house. She was careful to say to the shadows as best she could, considering the fact that she didn't want to get spotted. Each step inched her closer to the building, and hoped that there would not be any sort of traps waiting for her. The fact that she this could all be a trick did occur to her, but she put it aside as this was her first real chance to get to her siblings.
Still, she stopped at the door and only hesitantly reached towards it, realizing that it represented her last barrier to her entry of the house. Once she opened it and stepped inside, she'd have fully put herself into whatever sort of situation awaited her. She'd be hemmed in, and lose the chance to have an open area to run from. Swallowing hard, she fingered the knob, and wondered if she should go inside.
"What are you doing?" asked a perky feminine voice.
Kasumi's gaze snapped up from the doorknob to rest upon a pretty teenaged girl who had wide and curious eyes... that seemed feline somehow from how very closely they were looking at the Tendo girl's face.
"What?" the other girl asked, pressing a finger to her lips. "You just looked like you'd be one of Papa's friends."
"'Papa'?" the fox-girl squeaked.
"Uh-huh. Professor Natsume. And I'm his daughter, Nuku Nuku!"
"Ahh...."
"It'll be nice to have a new friend over...."
All Kasumi could do was gape at this girl and stand rigid, while:
