Mihoshi glowed and the waters of the hot spring leapt and splashed.
Shinobu had been about to get her sempai for dinner when she'd noticed a foreign girl. Everyone else had known that sempai was cleaning the spring, so maybe they'd gotten a guest who hadn't read the signs?
At which point, Shinobu had noticed that the girl was hovering about a foot and a half over the springs and decided to investigate.
Still clutching a spatula, and wearing an apron over her school clothes, Shinobu wondered what was going on when she felt herself beginning to stretch.
In order for Keitaro Urashima to have made a promise fifteen years ago with Shinobu Maehara, who was in eighth grade, some things had to change.
Shinobu's age was now eighteen and a half. While she'd been cute before, now she was a (still short) 5'4" somewhat elfin beauty. While her form had filled out, it was fairly average for a Japanese girl of her age. Her hair mainly continued in the same style, but in the back it had lengthened to reach her waist.
Now things altered further. The past hadn't actually been altered, but the documents and memories of it had. Shinobu Maehara had always loved her sempai, and had made that promise in good faith while they were kids.
