Kodachi Kuno furiously followed her quarry by rooftop. In her mind’s eye, she relived the hug the Tendo mercenary shared with her Ranma. How she envied the Tendo girl. Oh, how she yearned to have her love’s arms encircle her!
She could see it now. She is at St. Bacchus. He approaches with a gentle smile that is reserved only for her. He holds her and they are both oblivious to the envious girls gathering around them. They look into each other’s eyes and drink deeply of what they see. He moves his head closer and slowly parts his lips. Gee, it’s getting warm up here on these roofs.
The young Kuno was so caught up in her daydream that she almost missed a landing on the next roof and was forced to use her ribbon to regain her footing. It really was a less then graceful landing she chastised herself. She even knocked over a bucket of cleaning water in her clumsiness, definitely not a good showing for the captain of the rhythmic gymnastics team!
Kodachi took a moment to refocus to the task at hand and panicked a bit as she realized she had lost sight of her love. Wait. There was the chef, and the red headed harridan! Those two were teaming up to get her Ranma-sama! The pig-tailed girl’s wet clothes clung to her every curve. Such un-lady like behavior! It spoke volumes of her upbringing that she had to use such a method to flaunt her body! The sooner her Ranma-sama got away from such influences the better!
Kodachi was torn with indecision. She wanted to get that piece of paper, but wasn’t sure if she could get it with both girls against her. Her love was no where in sight. So the girls must have left him at the convenience store. At least she would be able be alone with him. Kodachi watched from the store’s awning as the two girls walk away. Why couldn’t they see how happy she could make Ranma-sama? If they really loved him they would let him go to where he could get the most happiest. If only, there was some way to make them see that!
She wished it were more like Rhythmic Gymnastics where you could fight fairly before the fight! Unfortunately, she wasn’t sure how to fight this battle, never mind when the fight was going to happen, but somehow she would make them see! Her musings stopped as the girls finally walked out of sight. Now to find her love! She dropped down to the pavement and entered the store. She looked around twice and Ranma-sama was no where to be found.
“You there!” She demanded of the shopkeeper in a (in her opinion) polite tone. “Have you seen a handsome man wearing Chinese clothes with black hair in pigtail?”
“Sorry missy. Nobody like that came in here today,” he replied as he looked up from some goods. Kodachi fumed a bit at his nonchalant tone, but decided she had more important things to take care of. She really wanted to talk to Ranma-sama and see what hold that paper had on him. The Kuno heiress ran into the alley behind the store to see if there was any trace of her love. Shortly afterwards, Shampoo jumped over the alley and moved on to the next roof. Oblivious that she had overshot her quarry as she continued her own search.
Kodachi was forced to conclude that he was no where in the area after searching the block a few times. She leaned somewhat dejectedly against the wall as she thought of what to do next. An okonomiyaki cart passed her. Of course! Now that they had Ranma to themselves, they would want to go some place private. Ucchan’s would be the perfect place for them to go! Hold on Ranma-sama. Your love is coming!
It took a little bit for her to find Ucchan’s as she only knew the general area where it was. The closed sign only fueled her imagination of what was happening behind those closed doors. She took a couple of deep breathes to calm her self. She needed that paper! Trying a window, she was pleasantly surprised to see it was unlocked. The rhythmic marital artist flipped inside and surveyed her surroundings. Voices floated down from the upstairs. Quietly she climbed up to it and placed an ear to the door. She was just able to make out Ranma-sama voice,
“…you got from Nabiki? What are you doing with that?” The next couple of sentences were lost as a closet was opened and the shuffling of objects masked any other sounds. Finally, the noise stopped and she could hear again.
“No. I keep that in the store safe. I should make a new batch and this time you can keep your promise to me to take care of me forever when it turns out good!” It was the Chef’s …Ukyo was her name…voice she heard this time. All was lost. It was her worst fears come true. The pigtailed girl and Ukyo (switch to evil images of the two in cliché witches outfits) was magical binding her Ranma-sama (same image, but now with a crying chibi Ranma trapped in a magical ball between them) and it was stored in a safe somewhere on the premises! Wait! She said that she had to make a new one to bind him forever. That means that the first one was still incomplete. There was a ray of hope!
