"Medical unit... Sa..." ground out the unit. "SK..."
"Something wrong?" asked Ranma. Mainly he was hoping that she wasn't about to attack him for not really being one of the Masters.
"Medical nin, ninja, Sakura Ha..." ground out the shuddering unit.
"Hey, that's a NORMAL name," remarked Ranma. "You're still in there right?" This was a GOOD thing as it indicated his friends and associates were still in there.
"SK0U-RA... no, I..." said the unit.
Ranma considered all the possibilities he had to screw this up, considered how to get this right, and bit the bullet to try and keep the gal from exploding or something. Wasn't that what happened when robots malfunctioned badly? He half expected sparks or smoke to come out of her ears. "Okay. I hope I get this right. I order you to tell me how I can order you to keep as much of yourself as possible without blowing up or getting recalled for repairs or something bad like that."
The controlled parts immediately went to work on that as her Inner Core continued to struggle with the current situation.
She was Sakura Haruno, medical ninja.
She was SKOU-RA, Bio-maintenance unit.
She was in love with Sasuke Uchiha.
She was a unit who included reproductive duties towards Master RAN(MA), and was completely obedient and loyal to him.
She was a cram student who took pride in her scholastic achievements.
She was a unit who brought her talents to the unity as part of the whole.
She wanted to rescue Sasuke, help him, give him happiness.
She was a unit of superior genetic stock, whose breeding would benefit the unity.
She was...
She was...
"C-compile," said Sakura/SKOU-RA.
"Okay, then," said Ranma. "I order you to compile. Whatever that means."
"no," silently mouthed Sakura, but it was already underway.
Ranma watched the girl with the pink hair shudder a few times, then sway and almost fall on her butt. Moving rapidly, he caught her and felt her sag into his arms in response.
She was Sakura Haruno, medical ninja assigned to Master RAN(MA).
She was in love with Master RAN(MA) and would serve as a reproductive unit for him, bringing her talents to the unity.
"Gah," said Sakura as her breathing slowly came under control.
"Are you okay?" asked Ranma.
"What do you think?" asked the pink-haired girl, sounding fairly irritated.
Ranma grinned like he'd just accomplished some major martial arts victory.
"I got swallowed by a wall, slammed into a gel-filled tube, cloned, turned into a cyborg, and had nanites rewriting sections of my brain," Sakura continued. She was still limp and making feeble motions, and her voice was barely above a whisper, but she did have quite a bit of emotion in that voice. "I don't think 'okay' comes even remotely close!"
"Yeah, well," said Ranma. "You're not a zombie." Focus on the positive, that was the ticket.
"Need to rest," said Sakura, feeling as if her energy had been sucked completely out of her. "Can't..."
Ranma, still grinning, nodded. Gal would collapse if he turned her loose. Felt almost as if she were running a fever. But he'd freed her from the evil mind-control thing so there WAS hope. "Okay. Rest. I order you to rest. Oh wait, that can't... huh. It worked?"
Ranma considered that for awhile then commanded the room to extrude a sleeping surface. Mainly because he wasn't going to do anything that hooked the girl up to more machines if he could help it.
"What all do I got, anyway?" asked Ranma. This gal had said she was a medical unit?
Some mechanism was apparently listening because he abruptly had a display extrude itself from a wall.
