Haruka grinned, waving a decanter of wine at her.
"Haruka, stop that - you're still underage, you know."
"Oh, come on, Michiru, we just managed to avoid the end of the world as we know it, after all..."
"Alright, alright, just this time..." Michiru sighed, then. "Though really, considering the fact that we've all been living together for months already..."
"Well, I still want to know more about 'Meiou Setsuna', though!"
Setsuna shrugged, sipping her glass of wine.
"There's really not much to know, you know. Born in the Saga prefecture, spent my childhood being passed around relatives, got a scholarship to go to the local public Uni, got another one to come to Tokyo and study at Mugen Graduate School from - well, it was supposed to be from this year, but then Mugen went bloowie and the 'Sailor Pluto' stuff kicked in. Well, that's life, I suppose..."
"...Oh. Ahh... Sorry about your scholarship?" Haruka muttered.
"No, no, it's alright - I mean, there wouldn't have been any use for a scholarship if Pharoah 90 had actually managed to come through, right? And the Crystal Tokyo people - well, Small Lady's Crystal Tokyo's people, I mean - said that I could keep most of the stuff that the other Pluto had set up, something about 'services rendered', so it's not like I'm especially financially badly off at the moment."
"Hmmm..." Michiru murmured. "Maybe you could go to another Graduate School..."
"I know, I know - I've been thinking about that, actually. ...You know what?"
"Hmmmm?"
"I used to wonder about m'parents, you know, when I was younger. And then, when I get to be Pluto and could actually go and check for myself what the whole mess was about - it clean skipped my mind! Weird, eh?"
"You're getting drunk, Setsuna... But anyhow. What happened? Did they get divorced?" Michiru asked, while Haruka went to get some more spirits.
"I'm nooot sure about that part, my relatives kept saying different things..."
"Confusing, that." Michiru murmured. "We could check things out by more - conventional means - if you don't want to see stuff directly, maybe..."
"No, no, one day I'm - just manage to get enough whatever. All that I'll probably see is stupid people being stupid, anyhow. Except that one of my uncles said that m'father used to be a member of some kind of gang that went around in powered skates or something. Powered Skates. That you could almost fly in, or something. Orz. As if the tech level of here and now could..." Setsuna hiccuped.
"Sorry. I am drunk, aren't I."
