The Silver Crystal shines in her hands. And then glows unbearably bright.

Her Father is at the Castle backup controls, trying to do whatever damage control he can. He reels as the blast hits.
"Papa!"
The area around the Crystal Palace is devastatedby five massive attacks, gordging large holes into the ground...
"Papa! Mama!"
What the bloody frigging hell is this?
Pluto stared at the Time Gate's control screens, as the clarion call of Code Scarlet howled across the entire Silver Millenium.
Jupiter was dragging Neo Queen Serenity's Crystal-incased body to safety, while Venus and Mars were snapping out order after order -
"Mars Command 62, Mars Colony Central, answer me, answer me - "
"Moon Fleet 676, this is a Code Scarlet, 22690 - "
"Pluto, Pluto - " Mercury pops up on the screen, her cheek bloodied. "They're droids. Androids. I scanned them, most of those battleships don't have any life support systems at all- pretty much the only ones that do are several of the big ones attacking the Crystal Palace itself!"
Oh, really. Pluto gritted her teeth.
" - What about King Endymion?"
"I've put him in statis for the moment - you could probably access his mind if you really have to, but not right now please, really -"
Damn. Damn. Damn.
"Do they at least have a name we can call them?"
And that was when Small Lady came running into the Time Gate.
"So what happened then?" Eight-year-old Mamoru - well, that was what he looked like, anyhow - asked softly.
"Oh, eventually Prince Dimando made a big victory speech and sent it over the airwaves, never mind that the Black Moon Family never did manage to take the Crystal Palace proper.
They also seemed determined to ignore that the majority of their Droid fleet had been crushed to smithereens, but then, those were just operated by Droids and not very high-grade ones at that in general, so..."
