"This is not good," Akane warned.
The Tendō sisters were currently relaxing in the living room; Sōun had gone into his bedroom to get hold of some aged sake so that he and his soon-to-arrive friend could celebrate the upcoming union of the schools. Gazing at her, both Kasumi and Nabiki could only nod. "We should've warned Otō-chan that Ranma-kun was getting married to Shinobu-chan before they held the wedding," the middle daughter stated.
"She will not be pleased to hear about this," Kasumi agreed, nodding.
And all three understood what could potentially happen if Saotome Shinobu (née Miyake) learned of what her father-in-law had in mind now concerning her husband. Despite their being separated due to Shinobu's current commitments, the sisters knew how much the former native of Tomobiki (the part of Nishitōkyō to the immediate west of Nerima) loved and cared for their friend and fellow-student in Musabetsu Kakutō-ryū despite their just meeting a year before and getting married only four months ago.
If what Shinobu had been GLAD to do to Ryōga Hibiki when the wanderer had chanced upon his middle school rival when he had been spending some quality time with his then-fiancée at her parents' home in Tomobiki was any indication…
…not to mention the one time Ranma's then-fiancée had caught Genma trying to perform some "special" training on his son…!
"So who gets to call her?" Nabiki asked.
"I'll do it," Akane stated as she stood up…
…just as her father returned back, a very large bottle of old sake in hand. "Akane-chan, where are you going?" Sōun asked.
"Just to the washroom, Tō-chan," his youngest daughter smoothly lied…
A minute later, relaxing on the closed toilet seat — and thanking her lucky stars yet AGAIN that the Tendō home had such modern amenities within it — Akane flipped open her cell phone and began to dial a number directly to…
