Those who had secreted away Princess Serenity had laid plans to ensure that the Princess would have powers far beyond those of her predecessors. They had planned, watched and experimented, seeking some way to enhance a person far beyond the norm.
They had discovered a way to modify the internal magics of a person to grant them such abilities as super strength, super speed, flight, invulnerability and various eye based powers.
They had developed various magical tools. Like an invulnerable magical rope, which when placed around a person compelled them to tell the truth. Or a special bow with a special set of magical arrows.
They had created a special ring which would allow the user to will into existence green energy constructs. A powerful weapon limited only by the imagination of the user.
They had even delved into technomagic and crated a suit of armor which had many built in features, both magical and technological.
Unfortunately, while each of their ideas and tools were indeed powerful, they also required powerful people to use them. The mages and scientists involved discovered that only those who had ties to the magic of the planets would be able to power their inventions. This of course made Usagi the perfect person for them to try out their new techniques on.
The only question remaining was exactly what they would use with/on her.
