"So, how do we do this?" Ranma asked.
Botan merely smiled, then tapped him once on each shoulder with the head of her oar, and then tapped him on the head with it. A strange feeling of lightness rushed through Ranma's body, and he could see myriad twinkling lights, like glowing glitter, start to whirl about him as if carried on a gentle breeze. Ranma couldn't help but think it was actually sort of pretty, and it felt rather nice too- he couldn't remember the last time he'd felt this peaceful.
Said peacefulness lasted until he glanced down and saw the ghostly female arms reaching out through his chest. Then he started screaming. Botan promptly whacked him over the head with her oar, stunning him into momentary silence.

At least, not entirely; this is the compromise. You yourself don't have the 'switch sexes' thing going on, but the girl will be... how should I put it? Tagging along for the ride."
"So, you mean, my new 'mother' is going to have two of me? One a guy, the other a girl?" Ranma asked in disbelief.
"No, not quite. She may inherit something of your personality, perhaps a few memories, but her soul is her own, and thus she is her own person. Think of her as being the girl your mother would have had anyway- with you being her 'wombmate'. Good luck in your new life."
The lights suddenly whipped up into a frenzy, dancing and swirling faster and faster, a feeling of utter weightlessness followed by a strong tugging sensation surging into Ranma as he and his new 'sister' were pulled into the womb of...
