"I'm off to challenge Saotome!" Mousse had a new technique that he thought would do the trick. Then the only obstacle to his happy life with Shampoo would be gone.
"Sit down and shut up while I finish this, Mister Part-time!" Cologne handed off another page to the openly-weeping Shampoo who was still staring at one of the photographs.
"Why should I listen to you, old mackerel jerky?" Mousse said aloud. Clearly. Not mumbling.
This was just the excuse Cologne needed to vent. She really needed to vent.
Passerby were amused and amazed. Limbs bent like that? How could you fold someone up like that (and from the moans and groans he was still alive) so that they could fit inside a teapot with only their feet sticking out? It was quite impressive.
Harrumphing, Cologne turned back to her reading.
"Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!" Shampoo decided to imitate Soun Tendo. "Airen think of Shampoo like Happosai?! Shampoo not happy camper!"
Cologne popped out a little umbrella to deflect one of the water streams away from the papers.
What she knew of son-in-law's life jibed with the report, but the report went into further detail, the whole fleshed out.
Ranma no doubt had some feelings for Shampoo, but according to the report writer - it was the needs of a child seeking attention and he was not emotionally ready to be a husband.
Well, there were ways of getting around that, but Shampoo was obviously having trouble with the pictures. One showed Ranma being glomped by Shampoo. The other had Ranma-chan being groped by Happosai. The expression of disgust was the same.
"Shampoo," said Cologne at great length. "You may not kill Genma Saotome."
Shampoo stopped crying and went to pouting. "But he need get hurt."
"Wait till you get to page 17," said Cologne drily. "You mustn't kill him or cripple him. Hurting him is okay though."
"Thank you, great grandmama," Shampoo beamed happily, though her eyes were still wet. "Shampoo really really need to vent."
"I thought you might," quipped the Amazon Elder. "I think I'll study up on a couple of pressure points myself."
