"BARNETTE!" Jura rushed towards the Gundam as soon as it had safely docked inside the Nirvana.
(Well, the fact that the Gundam clumsily bumped its head onto the ceiling need not really be mentioned.)
And as the cockpit located on the Gundam's chest opened, Barnette had preemptively climbed off the mech, and rushed into Jura's out stretched arms. "Jura!" They met half-way through in a tangle of arms and tears, all babbling happily. They were later joined by Dita, then Paiway, then some of the rest of the crew. They all chattered as they all welcomed a comrade they thought they had lost. Barnette, for the most part, had a sheepish look, but was grinning all the same.
Hibiki Tokai, meanwhile, had approached the Gundam in curiosity, examining its overall appearance. It was more humanoid-shaped, unlike the standard Vanguards he had remembered seeing.
"It's differnt, isn't it?" Magno Vivan AKA Boss's voice spoke from behind Hibiki, and he whirled around to see the Boss, BC, as well as Meia standing there all looking at the mysterious white and blue unit. Hibiki just grinned, turning back to the impressive mech.
"It's similiar to your partner," Magno continued, "Yet so radically different." She then smirked, "I wonder what sorts of secrets could this one hold?"
The answer did not wait long when the four tensed as they heard a sound coming from the cockpit. Then they saw him. A young man, about late teens, with black hair tied into a short braided pig-tail. He wore what seemed to be a shirt of red silk, and black baggy pants, as well as slippers on his feet. He was grimacing, and clutching his sides.
The four crew members stood frozen as the young man jumped off the cockpit with ease, rubbing his sides, and seemed to be muttering some things like 'stupid tomboy' and 'mallet'. He then looked up, and got a 'caught in the headlights' look as he stared at the four.
Meia reacted, and rushed the teen, tackling him as he gave off a surprised squawk, which had attracted the celebrating party a distance away. They stared as a new man struggled with Meia, before managing to throw her off of him. Meia recovered, and aimed her ring at him.
Ranma just shouted, "Oh damnit, not again!" And ducked as a light-blue beam passed overhead. With a burst of speed, he ran to the blue-haired chick attacking him, grabbed the wrist the ring was located, and in one deft move, removed it, to the blue-haired girl's surprise...
-Hwoo-crack!-
...Then suddenly found his own wrist wrapped by a coil of a strong leather whip. Turning to the source of the whip, he saw a buxom dark-skinned, white haired woman glaring at him, holding the whip's handle on one hand. He tsk'd in annoyance as the woman aimed another one of those laser-rings on her other hand.
Everyone and everything was silent, as the massive crew all stared at the mysterious pig-tailed man, and the man staring in return. Barnette just blinked in surprise, nearly forgetting about the man that was with her in the Gundam.
Magno Vivan, standing just beside BC, tersely spoke, "Well, who might you be?"
The boy just spat, "Ranma Saotome." Then, in true Ryoga-style, added, "And where the hell am I?" He struggled with whip, but BC held firm, still aiming the ring at him.
"H-he was with me in the unit." Barnette blurted out, and nearly everyone's gaze turned towards her. Magno just raised an eyebrow, her looking telling Barnette to elaborate, "When I was in my Dread, I was surrounded by Cubes. I-I thought I was dead. Then some anomaly opened under me." Barnette frowned in thought, "The next thing I remember was falling, then falling on that idiot," Ranma gave an indignant "Hey!", but Barnette continued, "Then there was more falling, into the that unit's cockpit," She motioned to the Gundam, "Then we fell again, then I was back." She finished.
There was silence again, as the crew studied the man. The silence was broken when Magno's voice cut through it.
"BC, release him." BC gasped, and turned to the Captain in shock, but she just shook her head, and BC acquiesced, and with a flick of the wrist, the coil came loose.
