Nabiki Switches Sides: A Midsummer Day's.. [Episode 216540]

A car honked angrily at her as it swerved around her making her scream in fright, then look around frantically.

'Saotome!' her mind screamed out as she saw the form of the man who had abused her so terribly. She flinched away from him in terror for a moment before her mind grasped something that was very significant...

'Wait.. how did we get here?' Nabiki thought in confusion. She took a look around herself to take in her surroundings for a moment, and became overwhelmed by the sense of deja vu.

She was sitting at the little cafe that she had been nursing a drink at, and there coming up the street was Saotome just like before everything that she knew turned horrible... 'What is going on here..?'

Then it all made sense in an instant.

'It was just a dream?' she thought incredulously, 'But it seemed so real..'

Nabiki watched as Saotome continued to walk down the streets towards her, and knew that she had to make sure whether what had just happened to her was memory or some form of nightmare or post traumatic stress delusion.

"Hey, Saotome!" she called out. The young pigtailed man stopped at the name and turned to look at her. His actions upon noticing who was calling him being much more like she would have expected prior to the (dream?).

• It was all just a midsummer day's dream brought on by the traumatic experience she had with her sister causing her to see rapists everywhere. Of course Ranma will help her out, somehow.
• It was a premonition, not of what would actually happen but of a worst case scenario. A higher power was looking out for Nabiki and wanted to send her on a less self-destructive path than revenge.
• Everyone has a side of themselves they hide from the world. Nabiki's whole world revolved around being in control, but her sister's act had shattered it. She now hated her sister, but the act had subconsciously shown her a way to free herself from the tight control. It was a very dark act the raping of her by Saotome in the 'dream', but it was her own perverse form of outlet.
  (Slightly dark in that it's still rape scenes probably with this thread but at least it's semi consentual.)
• It never happened.. in this realm. But in other realities there was a world where a Nabiki had treated a Ranma so badly that he would act like that.
  (Dark but not as bad. Perhaps show background of why that Ranma hated Nabiki so much?)
• It happened and more that Nabiki is too traumatized to remember. Ranma learned a lot from the amazons including their memory altering abilities, and he's a much better actor and much more devious than he ever let on.
  (DARK and only added to avoid being called a thread killer)
• Nothing the same?
  (The typical Something else option.. like the one I used to rescue this thread..)
