Sanjiyan Unkara Atavism: Uncommon knowlege from the sage [Episode 217653]

by HistorianoftheKais

Jiraiya painfully opened his eyes grateful that his danger sense was telling him that Orochimaru was gone. Given how he was feeling, the mega pervert really did not want to try and go another round with his former teammate. With a low groan, Jiraiya sat up and looked around. Tsunade was half crouched on the ground with her hands and knees holding her up. That was a little strange, but the fight was probably just more difficult than Tsunade had expected. Orochimaru was, sick as it was to consider, in a younger body. Shizune was next to Tsunade worrying about her master. Naruto was standing nearby Tsunade.

The perverted sage immediately froze in place when he saw Naruto's forehead. Without meaning too, Jiraiya muttered, "Impossible. There's just no way that he; how did this happen? It's just supposed to be a myth."

Naruto blinked his eyes as he vaguely heard Jiraiya talk to himself. What was supposed to be impossible? The blond genin sensed that Tsunade would be safe for the moment in Shizune's hands for a bit and he walked over to Jiraiya. All the while, Jiraiya went on and on about how something couldn't be real. Naruto got into his mentor's face and practically shouted, "Hey Ero-Sennin! What are you muttering about?"

Whether it was by instinct or deliberate planing no one would know. Jiraiya suddenly whipped out a kunai and made a deep, long gash along Naruto's right arm. Naturally, Naruto shouted out in surprise and anger over this. The cut did ruin one of his favorite jackets. However, black smoke hissed out of the wound before Naruto could say anything and the cut healed itself faster than even the Kyuubi was able to heal. With this irrefutable evidence, Jiraiya slumped down and said, "It's true."

Naruto was starting to get annoyed and he snapped out, "What's wrong with you Ero-Sennin? First you keep on blabbing about something being impossible. Then, you cut up my favorite shirt and me. Now, I've got some weird healing smoke coming out of me. You seem to have an idea what all this means, so spill."

Jiraiya frowned and replied, "I'll tell you what's going on brat. However, you're going to wish that you remained ignorant once I'm done. There's the mark of "Wu" on your forehead. Obviously, you can't see it right now, but it's there. That mark means that you have been transformed into a Wu. You're now the immortal bodyguard of the person who transformed you. No matter how badly, savagely, or painfully you are wounded you will always recover. I could grin you into cat litter and you'd still reform. However, these abilities come at a cost. When the person who transformed you into a Wu dies, you die. But unlike regular people, you won't be able to go on to the afterlife. Instead, your soul will be completely destroyed."

Naruto froze in shock and fear when he heard Jiraiya's pronouncement. At first, being a Wu sounded like a great deal. Sure the pain was a bit of a damper, but he was used to it as a ninja. It was the thought of his soul being destroyed that really worried Naruto. Everyone in Konoha knew that there was an afterlife; it was pretty hard to deny with the Shiki Fuujin. Naruto nervously looked at his mentor and asked, "Who? Who did this to me?"

The toad sage looked at the utter seriousness and worry in Naruto's eyes and fully understood the boy's concern. Hell, he would be too if someone had turned him into a Wu. Jiraiya looked over at Tsunade and Shizune and quickly figured out who was the Sanjiyan Unkara. He then turned back to Naruto and said, "It was Tsunade who transformed you. Luckily for you, the same abilities that allowed her to make you a Wu will make it impossible for her to die a natural death."
