"Yes, precisely," said the kunoichi from her position kneeling in front of the Saotome matriarch. "You have summed it up quite well, Lady Nodoka."
Nodoka considered that briefly. "Why exactly would I have any problem with any aspect of that?"
"I have no idea, my lady," said the kunoichi. "It was felt that notifying you was necessary, just to avoid any potential problems. As soon as you permit, I shall go rejoin the others who are already there with my Master."
Nodoka inclined her head elegantly. "Very well. You may go. I understand the situation and see no problem with it."
"Thank you, my lady," said the kunoichi, disappearing in a swirl of sakura petals.
Nodoka eyed the petals on her floor. "I would really prefer that she didn't do it quite that way."
"Okay class, we've had a few transfers come in," said the teacher. "Fortunately, some students transferred out so we have room."
("Wow," said Hiroshi, "I had no idea I could get transferred to a prestigious all-girl's school in Wakayama."
"Neither did I," said Daisuke, looking over his transfer papers. "Except mine is in Okinawa.")
"So," continued the teacher, "if you will introduce yourselves?"
