Her human form began to match that of other nereids. She was voluptuous, in such perfect proportion that she seemed to even surpass Urd, though the taller goddess probably did have larger breasts in truth. Her hair, which appeared slightly damp and would always appear as such, shifted further and further to a shimmering gold, like sun reflecting off of the water. And her skin, as Skuld's fingers explored her shifting form, became as white as the most perfect pearl. Her eyes became the pure green of the far and trackless oceans as Skuld lost herself in them.
And then they kissed.
Skuld felt herself sinking deeper and deeper into the combined ecstacy of the potion upon them and the power of that kiss. And for a time, until she adapted, she was a nearly like a treasured plaything in Megumi's grasp for all the effort she could put forth.
Most important of all, as the fae and goddess coupled together, was the creation of the shawl. The pure white strip of cloth twisted about Megumi that Skuld and her both instinctively treated with all possible care.
The shawl that now held Megumi's soul. The destruction of which would send that soul back to the ether to be reborn.
