Originally, Nodoka had planned on taking her son out to all the places where he could be his manly self. This had included the mall where he could pick-up hot girls, the local community swimming pool where he could show off his manly body and drink in all the beauties in their skimpy bathing suits, then stopping at a local club where her manly son could slow-dance with pretty girls and feel them up, before finally settling at a local love hotel where her manly son would work at giving her grandbabies while she cheered the sounds of it from the downstairs bar.
It was a terrible letdown for her that her wonderful day plan of getting to know her manly son and watch him being manly in so many ways would have to be scratched. But, when dear Ranko-chan volunteered to spend the day with her instead, she decided not to let her day's plans be a total lost. Ranko might not be her manly son, but she was still a very dear girl, even if she was a bit too much of a tomboy for her own personal standards.
'Yes,' Nodoka decided, 'in fact this could work very well. We'll do everything together I meant to do with my son only with her in the girl's role, she needs help getting out of her tomboy phase. And maybe this might even make the girl appreciate manly men better after today. And, since no one can possibly be any more manly than my son then surely it will make her grow closer to my manly son. And then.. grandbabies!'
