"For all his attempts at stealth," Professor Slipcam murmured, "how does he intend to go unnoticed with moves like that?"
Doctor Amagi gave a small snort. "What I'd like to know is why he tried to sneak in wearing a purple suit?"
"If nothing else, it's not hard to miss him," Doctor Light allowed.
"But who is he?"
"I don't know. I doubt that he's merely lost...."
"True. He could be some sort of infiltrator looking to get secrets from us."
"For the enemy?"
"Or perhaps for corporate interests," Slipcam suggested.
"We can guess, but he's already a problem. Even he's just a reporter, or some sort of conspiracy nut, he is still a problem," Amagi reminded everyone.
"The problem is that we don't know who is...."
"Other than an amateur."
"From what we can tell, he's not a threat...."
"We've got a positive identification," reported a technician. "The intruder's name is...."
"Kotaro Nambara...." Mahoro groaned.
"Well... yes. That is his name."
The gynoid covered her face with one hand, sighing heavily. Of all the things that could have happened, this was one of the more troublesome, not that the individual in question was all that much of a physical threat. But after having to deal with the effeminate rich boy who kept on trying to get too close to her Master, and the bokuto swinging boy who kept on trying to fight her Master, this was just too much. It was bad enough when she simply had to handle all those bothersome women, but some of the boys she had met were even worse.
"What do we know about him?" Amagi asked.
Turning his attention back to the console in front of him, the technician scowled at the data presented. "Kotaro Nambara, heir to a sizable family fortune, some of which is involved in electronics. Late teens, with grades that weren't that terrible. Apparently know for a flair for the dramatic, a snobbish attitude, and...."
"Just you watch! With this, I will match your abilities and benefits! You have had your robot maid, and now so will I!" echoed out from the speakers from the live feed. "I, Kotaro Nambara, Saotome's best friend and number one enemy will show you what I can do with a maid of my own!"
"Delusional behavior."
"I'd say that's putting it mildly," the woman scientist muttered.
Mahoro just hung her head and wondered just why it was that the idiot couldn't leave well enough alone. Normally, she tried to be even tempered and dignified, but Nambara just went to far sometimes. If he would simply behave, things could be dealt with, but, no, he had to go and be an embarrassment to everyone around him.
That was just unacceptable, and she wished to get rid of him, though she hadn't managed that so far, while:
