"How should I know?!"
"I used the teleport technique but it felt like something grabbed on and tugged us here. Wherever here is."
"I don't suppose you can just teleport us back, can you?"
"Did the fact that he looks about ready to pass out from chakra exhaustion clue you in?"
"I'm fine, really, let me just..."
"Well, he passed out. Might as well introduce ourselves. I'm Tenten, kunoichi with Team Guy."
"Sakura Haruno. I just graduated and am about to be put on a team."
"Ino Yamanaka. Same as her."
"The unconscious girl is Hinata Hyuga," said Sakura.
"So, any idea where we are?" asked Tenten.
"It's a three story building," said Sakura as she went to the fence lining the roof and looked out. "Looks like some kind of training field or something. So... a school? It's sort of arranged the way the Academy is."
"Well, if teleporting requires a lot of chakra, he's going to be out of it for awhile," said Tenten as she thought things through. "So..."
"What are you doing up here?!" said an authoritarian voice.
"We need to conceal that we're from Konoha," said Tenten in a low voice as the balding adult stalked towards them. "Just try to wing it."
Okay, I need to figure this all out so I can report on it all later.
Stupid Naruto and his uncontrolled teleport jutsu.
We were grabbed and thrown into classes as they feel we were students skipping class. When they can run down our identification they say they'll put us in the right school and class.
Good luck with that.
Naruto is with the school nurse. Hinata just fainted. Naruto is exhausted apparently, and the medic here seems familiar with the condition enough to know how to treat. Hinata had some awkward moments with all this, but now we've settled down. We'll make a break for it later.
Their history book is odd. No mention of the Elemental Countries. No mention of ninja at all. But then, I'm coming to a conclusion here that I really don't want to.
We're not only not in the Elemental Countries, we're not even in the same world. There's too many little jarring details for any other explanation.
Tenten glances back at me, and makes a hand signal. Three fingers. Whatever that means.
Okay, she glanced at the clock. So that means the time.
Tenten sat down and regarded the students. She was the only genin present, so technically she outranked them right?
"Situation report," said Tenten.
"We're not even on our world," said Sakura. "The history books are completely unrecognizable."
"We might be in our ancient past," said Ino, automatically wanting to cut off Sakura's point.
"That would... complicate things," said Tenten, making a 'time-out' gesture. "Hinata?"
"Uhm, nobody uses chakra," said Hinata. "I've used the Byakugan twice when I was sure no one was looking. The city is fairly old, or at least shows signs of it. There are also machines I'm not familiar with everywhere."
"Yeah, I saw some of that in those books too," said Tenten. "Did you check on Naruto?"
Hinata went through her hand-signs quickly and checked. "Still unconscious."
"Okay," said Tenten. "Anyone have anything else to add?"
