[Episode 220027] [Episode 220027]“Where am I, and who are you?” Naruto demanded with a shout.
“You are within the seal that imprisons me, and I am the dreaded Nine Tailed beast,” growled the vaguely mammalian shape of a predatory animal with shackles on it’s legs and tail.
“I don’t believe you’re the Nine Tails,” Naruto declared with a courage and certainty that seemed to surprise the now even more feline shaped creature.
“You doubt my power?” the green eyed and now very cat like beast demanded as it bared it’s long white teeth.
“Naa, you seem plenty powerful, I just don’t think you’re the Nine Tail,” Naruto stated as he laced his fingers behind his head, and gave a big smile as if he knew something the creature before him didn’t, and found it very amusing.
“And, if I’m not the Kyubi no Yoko, who am I?” the beast growled, It’s teeth shined in the odd light of the surreal world of the seal.
“I think you’re the benevolent elder god of chaos and mischief Toltiir,” Naruto stated in the cute matter of fact way only a child who doesn’t even begin to understand the scale of the forces he was dealing with could.
The beast leaned down, and smiled showing it’s mouth full of long white teeth as it then growled, “and, why would you think that?”
“Well you only have one tail,
You’re the wrong colors,
Your chains aren’t connected to anything, but your legs,
You look like a cat,
There’s a big nine tailed rabbity thing and some guy who looks like the Fourth Hokage holding up big cue cards that say you’re the benevolent elder god of chaos and mischief, Toltiir,” said the blonde, pointing behind the now house cat sized and shaped elder god. “But most of all everyone knows the Fourth Hokage took the Nine Tails into the after life with him.”
“He, he, he, ha, ha, ha, ha,” Toltiir laughed, now suddenly sitting behind a desk in an office. “He, he, now, down to business, You have the duty of helping Hinata recover, and I’m willing to help for a price.”
A mask of confusion covered Naruto’s face as he asked, “Why do I need to heal Hinata? I mean there are medical-Nin for that sort of thing, aren’t there? And, what’s the price?”
Taking a more serious tone, Toltiir began “The body is easy to fix, and getting Hinata a set of eyes is easy. The mind or soul are far more difficult to heal. You are uniquely suited to help Hinata heal because she trusts, respects, likes you as a person, and you care. Those elements go a long way when helping someone recover from anything.”
Naruto watched as different scenes of Hinata shyly watching him from a distance, played out across a large screen TV that had suddenly appeared on the wall. The scenes were of her hiding while trying to gather the courage to talk to him, and barely being able to say a word when she tried to talk to him. The shock she that truly cared, and respected him that much hit him like a well swung kanabo.
Taking a comical thoughtful pose, squinting his eyes, and putting his right hand to his chin as if rubbing a beard between his fingers, Naruto began, ”So, you want me to help her build up her confidence, but why’s she so unsure of herself? I think I’m gonna need to know that, and how are you going to help, and what’s the price?”
Toltiir put on a pair of cat sized reading glasses that shouldn’t have stayed on his head as they were clearly designed for a human, picked up a list, and began to read. “I plan on giving you training materials that will be helpful, I’ll help you get a larger and nicer place to live, and maybe some other stuff. All you have to do is to officially adopt Hinata into your clan”.
“No problem I was planning ta see the old man tomorrow anyway, but how am I suppose to get this stuff that’s suppose to help train Hinata.”
“The training materials should be arriving right about now.”
Suddenly the door violently burst open, chains ripping through, grabbing Toltiir, and dragged him out the door in a blur.
Naruto blinked having only seen a blur of what looked like tentacles, ”What was that?”
“Your mom, now…”
“My mom’s a tentacle monster?!”
“Sort of…”
“I am not a tentacle monster, BELEAVE IT!”, someone shouted from behind the newly repaired door.
“My mom’s a naughty tentacle monster, no wonder no one wants me around, does that mean I’m gonna do naughty tentacle things to Hinata?”, said Naruto clearly worried, and knowing far more on the subject then he should.
“Only if you learn the right ninjutsu, but you need to wake up now so you can be awake when Hinata wakes up,” Toltiir replied trying to appear as serious as possible.
“I am not a tentacle monster, BELEAVE IT!”,
“You idiot, we were supposed to steal the chest, not vaporize it!”
Hinata awoke to the sound of a large chest that had recently subjected to a large explosion crashing through the roof above Naruto’s bed, and destroying it. The darkness still there was proof the day before had not been just a nightmare.
“Don’t worry Hinata, I’m sure the old man will be able to make everything better.”
