“You're quite amazing, miss,” the man complimented through his heavy breathing. “Just the sort of woman I like, and just the sort I'd love to hire.”

“Hire?” Ranma squeaked. That was, to put it mildly, more sudden than she'd like. She didn't trove about looking for commitments of any sort, especially not for jobs. Still, she decided to let the man speak.

“You seem not to mind having sex on the first date, so I'll just go straight to the point. I run a... What's the word for it...? A brothel, and I believe your services would be very, very much appreciated by my clientele.”

At that, Ranma couldn't help but contort her face in mild disgust. Whorehouses, as far as she could tell, were dirty little hovels in horrible neighborhoods where girls with little to their name were abused by horrible pimps or madams while being used by any disgusting troll that offered money. To say this was not something she wanted to do with her life was the ultimate understatement. She might like having sex as a girl, but she did have standards. “I don't think so. I don't need to be pawed at by the dregs of society.” She started to sit up, but the man grabbed her by a breast and pushed her down on her back again.

“You don't understand me,” he continued. “I'm not talking about the sort of dingy, smelly places you no doubt are familiar from watching the local news. I aim higher. Much higher.”

“Oh?” Ranma gazed at the man, still unconvinced. “I doubt someone catering to the rich and famous would be recruiting in a subway train.”

“Oh, I recruit everywhere, I assure you. You see...”

• ... I provide services to the 'rich and famous,' as you put it, the world over. But I also have quite the few... Infamous persons on my client list."
• ... I need women who can handle rough treatment. I specialize in women who can take a good pounding."
• ... I'm not human. And my brothel is quite far away from this planet."
  "What!? What kind of sci-fi shit is that!?"
• ... I specialize in removing people with troubled lives from all that troubles them, and you seem quite troubled, Ranma Saotome."
• Rather than finish his statement, he injects her with a strange compound.
• There's always room for the unexpected.
