Washu could only shake her head, as Mihoshi screwed up big time.
But this wasn't just a 'normal' screwup. Mihoshi's bungling had teleported good size portion of a world's inhabitants(the human population and the 'wildlife') and dumped them all over Japan.
It was a world where the 'wildlife', known as Pokemon, was captured, trained, and they served as pets, companions, partners, etc. But mostly they were used in competition, sorta like how there are underground dog fights, but with a genuine league, official rules, and a backbone of services for the care of these competing creatures.
Washu was looking at that world in her research of 'living focal points', the people whose actions shaped the future of the world. And that person happened to be Ash Ketchum.
But now thanks to Mihoshi, Ash Ketchum and the people tied to him(and the numerous Pokemon, including serveral 'legendaries') are going to end up in Japan.
"I'M REALLY SORRY! I DIDN'T MEAN TO DOOM THE WORLD!"
