"What's... what going to be?" asked Ogami in an uncertain tone.
She paused for a moment since he most likely wouldn't give a straight answer even if asked directly. So she decided for a different approach. "Which group of girls would you consider to be more precious to you? The ones in Tokyo or the ones in Paris?"
"You can't honestly expect me to choose one group over the other! I would do everything in my power to protect them both!"
There was a twinkle in Urd's eyes that caused Ogami to feel a bit uneasy. "Just as I expected... you want both Paris and Tokyo groups, eh?"
"Huh? Wait a sec..."
"That works for me! I'm going to send you back now but I can assure you that your life is going to be very different going forward!" And those were the last words he heard before he blacked out.
When Ogami came to, he saw the shadow of a large man dressed in a female military uniform wearing make up hovering over his body. His mind instantly recognized the man as a member of the Baragumi. "What happened?"
"I was hoping you would tell me, Ogami-kun. I found you collapsed out in the hall like that in the middle of your rounds," replied the man.
'Then all that stuff earlier... it was just a dream?' That would probably make the most sense although it was a bit weird why he fell asleep in the middle of his rounds. His job schedule wasn't as heavy as before with tasks being split a bit more evenly among the Teikoku Kagekidan. "Um... thanks for looking out for me. And don't mention this to any of the others, ok?"
"Don't worry, hon. My lips are sealed."
"Um... thanks." Best to get back to his room to rest up before another big day tomorrow. The Hanagumi are already preparing for their next stage production and he had to be ready to pitch in.
He got back to his room and went straight to bed after changing into some sleepwear. No dreams would come to him that night.
However, he would have one heck of a start for the next morning as...
