[Episode 22162] [Episode 22162]Nabiki listened quietly as her father introduced, no, displayed his daughters to this Ranma person. Numbers and possibilities rushed through her mind, yen signs chasing right behind them, plus there was something….just something chewing at her when she looked at him. Here, a seriously one of a kind person had just been tossed into her lap. She would have to be an idiot to walk away from this kind of opportunity.
Soun frowned slightly as he looked at his middle daughter with her glassy eyes staring at Ranma with a bit of drool starting to slip past her lips. “NABIKI!” he barked.
Nabiki blinked as she regained her senses. “What, I’m sorry daddy. Though if my two dear sisters don’t mind, I would be happy to take up this honor obligation, though with a few considerations, of course.” As her more familiar mercenary tendencies came on line.
”And those would be?” Soun asked, looking more than a little worried. Akane was in the process of giving herself whiplash as she looked disgustedly at her sister and this new freak, while Kasumi busied herself with the tea.
Nabiki smirked, once again daddy was going to be putty in her hands. “First, Ranma and I decide when were going to be married. I still have to finish school, and I’m quite sure that you wouldn’t want your darling little girl to just drop out just to get married and start a family. Just imagine how that would look, daddy.”
Soun blanched a bit at that thought before nodding. “Alright, and anything else.”
Ranma sat there in shock, watching this girl and her father haggle over him like he was a hunk of beef. “Uh…excuse me. But I ain’t getting married to anyone until I find a cure.” As he stood up from the table, “And nothing you say is going to change my mind old man.” Looking down at his father.
Nabiki coughed, regaining their attention. Standing up, she walked around Akane, starting to feel the heat of her ‘righteous anger’, towards Ranma. “Ranma, may I speak with you for a moment.” Holding her hand out towards the dojo.
He hesitated a moment, before nodding cautiously. “Okay, sure. But you won’t change my mind.” As he started to sulk towards the dojo, Nabiki following along.
