They hadn't been strong enough to actually affect reality, and probably would have trailed off eventually, except for the large amount of exposure to the undead Nabiki had had recently.
So, when Nabiki stood up and shouted.
"RANMA! GET OVER HERE!!!" she was partially surprised to find herself drawing back her hand and then launching it forward, complete with a harpoon attached to a chain.
Yohko stood up and stared in amazement as Nabiki seemed to suddenly be drawing the spirits of the dead somehow to snag the Cheetah-man with that harpoon and pull him over to them.
Nabiki blinked for a moment as she considered her plan to talk to Ranma before things got screwier had just made things screwier.
"What's going on Ranma?" Nabiki demanded of the werecheetah as he rubbed at his quickly healing shoulder where Nabiki's now-vanished chain and harpoon had speared him. "And just why do I suddenly have Scorpion's powers from Mortal Kombat?"
