"If I can get away with it, then I must deserve it then by THAT reasoning," said a girl who looked like a younger and less stacked version of Tsuruko as she leapt up onto the roof while looking down and back at something.
"Excuse me," murmurred Tsuruko as she glided towards the newcomer without making any other sound.
Some woman's voice yelled up at the newcomer, something that sounded more annoyed than angry.
"You were talking about catlike senses," said the newcomer, pointing to a popsicle in her hand, "that was just daring me!"
Ranma couldn't see what Tsuruko did, both of them had their backs to him, except that suddenly her presence went from whisper to shout. You could see it register in the newcomer, just the way her back clenched and posture went from relaxed to more-scared-than-was-reasonable.
"So," said Tsuruko, letting a single hand fall upon the girl's left shoulder, "this is how you use your training?"
"WAGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!" said the girl, her feet churning madly at the roof tiles as she tried to run.
Effortlessly, or so it looked, Tsuruko held the girl in place. "Too much free time? I see what you need then. More training!"
"NOOOOOOOOOOO!" screamed the girl as she was dragged off.
Ranma blinked a couple of times. "Did... I do that?"
It was the highest probability outcome, almost inevitable really.
"Brings back memories," admitted Ranma. "Oh well. She was saying about 'my experiences' and how it left me unable to accept them 'pokegirls' and such."
Retcon effects are such that Ranma Saotome has had problems relating to pokegirls, accepting them, and using them.
"From what she said, I don't have the Cat Fist," stated Ranma. "Do I got something to compensate?"
Cat Fist training has been replaced with Doppelganger and Divine Fist training.
"The 'divine fist'?" asked Ranma.
Divine Fist consists of being able to dodge or block the vast majority of attacks. The ability to resist or avoid curses, debuffs, hexes, area of effect damage, and similar attacks. Divine Fist utilizes hit-and-fade manuever. It is not usable with Doppelganger technique due to power limitations of Ranma Saotome.
"What's 'doppelganger'?" asked Ranma.
Doppelganger technique is ability to manifest one or more duplicates. The technique is very draining though, and can exhaust even established practitioners.
"Oh," said Ranma. "Well, go ahead and switch out my Cat Fist with those. I'm gonna go nuts if I stay here with lotsa these cat types."
Unable to comply.
"Why?" asked Ranma.
Operation mechanism of Great Will currently with Hiroshi and Daisuke and is turned off.
"So switch it back to me," suggested Ranma.
Unable to comply.
Ranma opened his mouth, closed it again, considered, then rubbed his forehead. "Okay. Lemmee see if I got this. Hiroshi and Daisuke have to give me back this 'operation mechanism' right?"
Correct.
"Uh huh," said Ranma.
