[Episode 223506] [Episode 223506]As Ranma continue to shamble in a direction that he hoped would lead him to his current residence a strange thing was occurring within his body. At first it was a small reaction caused by the radioactivity of the area but it began to grow in size. Ranma only began to notice when his right arm went numb before it felt like it had been set aflame with Saffron’s fire.
He looked at the source of the pain and saw that his arm was on fire; he reacted, as quickly his body would allow him. All his attempts to stop the fire did nothing and he could only watch as it slowly consumed the entirety of his body. The heat caused him to collapse onto the ground once again, but this time he knew he was done for, whatever was happening to him would surely kill him before he could even find out what had happened to his adopted family and father.

Much to his surprise Ranma awoke, his head still laying against the charred earth. He definitely felt better then when he had collapsed during his earlier attempted trip. His wounds felt like they had healed and his energy had been replenished by some mysterious source.
After getting his bearings he turned to look at his right arm to make sure there had been permanent damage done by the fire earlier. His startled scream could be heard for miles across the desolate wastes, his arm appeared to be made of lava. The glow from the heat surrounded his arm, casting light upon the slowly darkening earth. Remembering having felt the pain all over his body he quickly looked down and found himself with no clothes on at all, presumably having been burned off by the heat he was now producing, and his entire body looked like his arm had. Being unable to see his head he at first tried to find his pigtail but it was gone, along with his clothes. He slowly stood up; unsure of how is new form would react to his movements, half expecting himself to fall apart.
Having found that his body still reacted in the same way as it had normally he decided to try a quick kata to make sure before continuing his journey. As he began he quickly found out that everything was not as it had been, whenever he tried to jump or put force into a move his body would produce an explosion from the area he was attempting to use. He found he could string together before he had to take break. Sure it was a short break but it severely limited the potential of the explosions in fighting.
Having finally gotten a decent grasp on his newly gained abilities he started his search anew. He was still unable to determine the correct direction to go in with the amount of rubble and soot that had changed the city from an urban district to a quiet desolate waste.
