"Kaima form!"
"Let's not have that," said the pigtailed boy, reaching out and doing something.
Isaribi blinked as she felt her chakra suddenly dissipate. "Eh?"
At which point there was a sudden flare of pain from the back of her head and everything went dark.
"...complicated chakra setup."
Isaribi heard the faint comment coming from out in the darkness somewhere.
"...defeat it?"
"Her. She's a HER."
Isaribi realized that one person now defending her had been the boy with the pigtail from earlier.
"Sorry," said the other voice. "She was turning into a monster though, which meant she might have been a chimera. I've faced such before. How did you defeat her? I saw no punch, you just tapped her."
"I turned off her technique," said the male voice, everything slowly gaining in volume and focus. "I used Blessed Vision to see her clearly, saw the ninjutsu written in her chakra lines. Then I used my speed to strike at a weak point and disrupt the flow. No chakra, no transformation jutsu."
"So 'Blessed Vision' is similar to the Byakugan?" asked the other voice.
"Sort of," said the cute boy's voice. "Kind of a copied version. Burns through the chakra though. You're familiar with the Byakugan?"
"Yes, Neji Hyuga of the Hyuga branch family escaped the village's destruction as well."
"Oh, him," said the cute boy's voice. "Yeah. Last I heard he was working for some elite group. Real Avenger-type."
"Well, yes."
"Tenten really belted her," said the cute boy's voice, now sounding as if he were only a few feet away.
"Looks like our prisoner is coming to," said a girl's voice.
