Kari moaned and rubbed her head as she got up. She was in a park somewhere. She tried to remember how she got there...
Oh yes! They, all the digidestined, that was, had been helping to rebuild the digital world after MaloMyotismon's defeat. They had been working in Primary Village, when a strange and powerful Digimon just... appeared, and began attacking everything that moved. The Digidestined moved to stop it, but before they could, something seemed to suck the monster in... and the kids and their partners were dragged along with it.
Kari looked around again. It was a nice park, with a slide shaped like an elephant and a sand box. She could see her fellow Digidestined... but none of the digimon!
"Gatomon? Gatomon? Can you hear me?" She began calling, hoping to find her partner.
Suddenly, her D3 began beeping. Kari took it out, and watched amazed as she held it. Once again, it transformed! Now she was holding something larger than her hand, it had a keyboard and many other function buttons as well. She vaguely heard the other children exclamations of surprise as their digivices transformed, too.
Opening up the screen, Kari was shocked to here Gatomon's voice. "Kari? Are you out there?"
"Gatomon?"
"Yes. I'm here, Kari. Strange as it is, it seems I've become something called a Net Navigator..."
