Cologne's right eyebrow twitched. Why did it always have to be a ghoul? Why couldn't it be a wrinkled up monkey, or an old mummy, or some other way to describe her?
"No, it must be a kappa!"
"Kappa? Is it even alive? I still say it's a ghoul."
Cologne's eyebrow twitched again, more violently this time. Okay, so getting called by other names was not as refreshing as she had thought earlier. In fact, it was just as insulting. At least she got used to be called a ghoul, but--
"Ghoul!"
"Kappa!"
"What's going on?"
That had been a male voice, Cologne realized. Focusing her mind on the matter at hand, she looked at the speaker, seeing the young boy was now awake, and stiffling a yawn. It was now or never, Cologne decided, and took charge of the situation. "My name is Cologne, and I wish to help you on your epic quest," she said with as much conviction and dignity she could muster.
"Why would I need a ghoul?" he asked curiously.
Both of Cologne's eyebrows twitched in unison, and she counted to ten to relax, idly noticing the blonde genie grin victoriously at the other one, who was sulking. "I'm actually a powerful martial arts master, and there is much I can teach you," she replied.
"Ah, so some witch turned you into a ghoul, like that Beryl meanie did to pops?" Ranma asked sympathetically.
