"It's done" Genma wiped his brow of sweat after all this hard work. He was sure that the alien DNA he combined with his son's would make him a superior being. After a good decade of drastic martial arts training, he would be the best fighter of this world, defeat the Master once and for all and assure his retirement.
Genma left the room, intending to find a bar and celebrate his success.
A few hours later, Ranma Saotome woke up, looking like a three years old already. His alien DNA had accelerated his growth and given a few basic skills thanks to genetic memory. Enough to survive.
And that was the main point. Genma had spliced his son with the genetics of creatures who were the ultimate survivors. Superior strength, speed and toughness. Acidic blood. Enhanced senses. Cunning and the irresistible drive to survive and propagate, at ANY COST.
Ranma was contained, prisoner, helpless. He thrashed against the tube he was in, wounding himself in the process. Soon, his blood ate through the plexiglas, freeing him. The hybrid sniffed and left the laboratory, losing himself in Tokyo's streets.
But even if he was an Alien/Human hybrid, he was still a child and collapsed of fatigue later. That's when someone found him and fate would have Ranma raised by this person.
