Cat Types - General
Kit, pre adolescent base type. At the Adolescence Threshold Event, the pokegirl will resonate with a particular Element and then become one of the typical cat-types. At some point between age forty and fifty, the pokegirl will then evolve again into the more stable End Stage form. Nekomama being one of those End Stages.
Ranma nodded, though he knew his PokeDex couldn't interpret that motion. "Other elements?"

"What'cha doing?!" said someone directly underneath Ranma.
"YIPE!" yelped Ranma as he leapt up, fumbled with the pokedex, and otherwise reacted with more panic than anything else. The pokedex shut off the current command as soon as he yelped, interpreting that as a 'I'm busy now - shut down' signal.
Nabiki finished pulling herself out of thin air as he watched, the long tail being the last part to fade into existence.
"Looking us up on your pokedex?" asked Nabiki, straightening up and then cocking her head to the side. "So go ahead. Take a look at the most agile of the Tendo girls."
"And the most modest too," said Ranma under his breath. Nonetheless he did point the gadget at the girl.

Notes (brief): Cheshire was one of the second generation developments of the pokegirl, following the Plague. Each Element of the Catgirl Genus is a specific breed. Ghost is the province of the mischievous Cheshire. Her Ghost abilities can get her out of many situations her natural curiosity gets her into.
"What can I say?" said Nabiki, spreading her hands wide and grinning mischieviously.
"Why 'limited'?" asked Ranma.
"Err," said Nabiki, losing a little of her apparent confidence.
Cheshire Ghost Abilities (limited)
Cheshire's Ghost Element abilities are limited in that they tire out the pokegirl rapidly. The longest distance a Cheshire can Teleport is roughly fifty meters and is also limited to either line-of-sight or a well-known location. Her invisibility Talent requires that she be still or not move rapidly. Her phase ability is limited to the amount of time she can hold her breath and the density of the objects she is attempting to pass through.
"Okay, can we stop dwelling on this?" asked Nabiki.
Of the various Ghost types, Cheshire is among the weakest combatants.
"You can stop now," said Nabiki, her smile twitching a little.
It has been noted that those who are the registered ResPa for a Cheshire must maintain constant discipline.
"Please, stop," said Nabiki, her shoulders slumping.
"Okay," said Ranma, tapping a button as soon as he'd figured out which one stopped it.
"So, uhm, you're coming to a decision then," said Nabiki, putting things together within the framework she had.
"Yeah, I guess," said Ranma.
"So..." said Nabiki softly. "I see."
"I haven't made any choices," said Ranma.
"Well, don't forget skills," said Nabiki, brightening some. "Can't decide just on the innate powers. You've got to factor those in too."
"Skills?" asked Ranma.
Skills are listed using the standardized Lowell-Flannery System developed for monitoring Skill Trainer testing.

"Hmmmm," hmmed Ranma. "I gotta choose an Alpha on skills too, huh?"
That generally IS how its done, agreed the Great Will Interface.
"Can't forget those, even if you're set to be some big pokebattle warrior," said Nabiki, settling down some.
