Faking It - Great Guardians: Chase in Narita! [Episode 225730]

by Gorgo

"So 'Seuchsa' means 'Master of Trees,' right?" Miyuki noted.

"Hai," Kuohu said as she sipped her tea. Despite its very flat taste, she said nothing about it; it would be just too insulting to the masters of the restaurant at Narita Airport, who seemed to work very hard in making everything they did with such scant supplies. Of course, some of the cooks were very happy to bring up whole balls of lettuce and cabbage for Kyekkyek's beloved friend and trusty war mount to munch on; Randy was helping Kyekkyek feed the great porcine nearby. Everyone ignored the crowd of gaping onlookers as they gathered at the entrance of the restaurant to stare at the sight of two ALIENS enjoying bowls of râmen and tea with two agents of the famous Men in Black and two local police officers. To say anything of a car-sized pig. "Kyekkyek encountered him pushing down trees to get at their leaves near the village where she grew up on Tengsei. After she helped him take down a tree, he adopted her."

"Should it be 'she adopted him?'" Ken asked.

Laughter echoed over the table. "Sometimes, I'm forced to wonder," Kuohu breathed out.

More laughter. "So what exactly brought your friend here so suddenly?" Miyuki asked; she had been shown a picture of a certain red-haired Noukiite free warrior thanks to Jay and Kay to get her up to speed on recent events in Tôkyô.

A sigh. "I must apologise for Kyech's actions, but sometimes, when she feels something must be dealt with immediately, protocol flies into the Heavens and she's off on her quest without a single message to anyone, even her best friends," Kuohu stated. "She recently learned that one of our ch'uokyek — our great dragons — visited your planet some years ago. As her honourable friend, the Sky Lord Nengmek'i, did to her when she was a child…" — the raven-haired Noukiite felt it prudent to not explain the full details of their origins to her new friends from Earth — "…the Sky Lady Hucheng-ch'ekyunghechha did bestow some of her power to a native of this world. You've seen some of the results of that with Kyech. These days, she is a trained warrior with years of experience in using her powers and skills. What if the one touched by the Lady Hucheng-ch'ekyunghechha is not so experienced?"

The two Bokutô officers tensed. "Oh, dear!" Miyuki breathed out.

"Damn!" Ken whistled. "That could be a problem."

"Could you contact your friend and ask if she's found that person?" Jay asked.

A nod. "I could…"

Kuohu's voice dropped off as something seemed to warp through her, and then she looked over her shoulder. "But it appears she's come to join us right now."

Everyone spun around to see a familiar redhead kneeling beside the happily-grunting Seuchsa, petting his lumpy forehead as she offered him an apple. Randy was gaping in awe at the Dragonspeaker; he had actually watched her teleport in. On seeing her, Kyekkyek whooped with delight as she lunged over to embrace her friend. "Kyech!"

"Kyekkyek, please wait," Kyech said, though she did smile as her younger friend hugged her close. "I wish to give Seuchsa a present from new friends I made."

Seuchsa grunted as he took the tasty sweet treat in his mouth. Seeing that, Miyuki and Ken could only shake their heads in awe. "Incredible…" the former breathed out.

"Amazing…" the latter added.

Noting that, Kuohu could only giggle. Jay and Elle exchanged knowing smiles.

Later…

"Well, if it's Ranma Saotome that your friend met up with…"

"Kanami."

Ken stopped. "Eh?"

Kyech shook her head. She had joined the others at the table, a bowl of râmen before her as she enjoyed her first taste of this popular Japanese snack. Much to Kuohu's and Kyekkyek's mirth, everyone from Earth were trying not to simply gape in total awe at the redheaded warrior's impeccable table manners. Randy was still feeding Seuchsa, this time giving him fruit provided by the restaurant staff. In the background, the crowd of onlookers all seemed to gush as they continued to gaze upon Kyech. "Ranma will soon no longer exist, Ken," she stated. "There will only be Kanami."

Ken took that in, and then he hummed before perking, and then he turned to gaze on Miyuki. "Oh, you mean that Ranma-san will be like Ataru-san and…"

She raised a finger to shush him. "Exactly."

"Ah, I see."

"So you'll be staying at the Moroboshis until everyone breaks for summer recess, and then accompany them on a training trip?" Jay asked.

"Hai. I would hopefully get the chance to take Kanami and Tsueko — plus whatever of their friends who wish to come along, such as Mimôko, Shikuko and Miyako — to Tengsei or perhaps even Kaisei to allow them to master their powers there."

Miyuki perked. "I know Tengsei is in Alpha Centauri, but where is Kaisei?"

"In a solar system close to the red dwarf star you call Barnard's Star," Kuohu stated. "It's the fourth planet of ten."

"Wow!" Randy breathed out; he had been listening in on the conversation.

"We've never detected that star," Miyuki noted; astronomy was one of her hobbies.

Kuohu shook her head. "It would be quite difficult for your current level of space-exploration technology at this time, Miyuki. Though from what we've learned through our exchanges with the Special Committee, your scientists are actually getting very close to making the discovery." A pause. "The system Kaisei is a part of is currently surrounded by a very large cloud of dark matter in what you would address as the Oort cloud of the system. That matter reflects its home star's light so much, you barely can see the star itself from Barnard's Star. And that's only four of your light-years away from Kyungik'ep'." A smile. "That's our name for Kaisei's home star."

"What does that name mean, Kyekye-nêchan?" Randy asked.

"'Timid Star,'" the red-haired tomboy warrior replied with a smile; she knew a lot of natives of Japan would have trouble pronouncing her proper childhood name, so she had allowed the traveller from America to use a cute nickname Kinshô Moroboshi made for her.

Laughter. "An apt name," Ken noted. He then sighed. "Kobayakawa."

A nod. "Hai, Nakajima-kun. We need to worry about Randy."

Kuohu perked. "Is there a problem?" she asked.

"He came here by himself to meet his grandfather," Miyuki answered. "We were going to take him to our station at Bokutô so we could locate his grandfather, then help them meet." A sigh. "But since I don't have my car here…"

"Actually, Miyuki, I think we can give you a hand," Elle stated with a grin.

The Bokutô officers blinked in confusion…

Later…

"Jay-san, you didn't have to do this for us!"

Jay laughed. "Actually, we did it for Kuohu and Kyekkyek here," he said as everyone stood around a large pick-up truck that had been driven to Narita from the S.C.A.A.'s local base in Tomobiki. The one with two rows of seats in the cabin and a large-enough bay in the back to hold a certain alien pig. "When they told us they were bringing the big boy here…" — He waved to Seuchsa in emphasis — "…we decided to spare people the sight of a giant pig that could outrun a race car."

"A good point," Ken noted with a nod as Kyekkyek guided Seuchsa onto the truck. "I wouldn't want to try to chase the big fellow down to give his rider a ticket!"

Kuohu laughed. Kyech remained her normally stoic self. "It might prove just as interesting and as exciting as the time you chased down a mad rider in his flitter on your mount while you were both in the midst of a typhoon."

The motorcycle policeman perked. "Eh?! Who told you about that?!"

"Lum and Tariko informed us of that incident when they spoke of you," Kyech said. She then lightly smiled before leaning over to tenderly kiss Miyuki's cheek.

The raven-haired policewoman yelped in surprise at that contact, and then she stared at the red-haired Noukiite. Ken's jaw was on the ground while Randy was blinking in confusion. "Wh-wh-why…?" Miyuki stammered as her cheeks flamed.

"For saving the pregnant cat and her litter while Ken was dealing with that bandit."

Miyuki gaped. "Lum-chan and Tariko-chan told you about that?!"

Kyech nodded. "For Kyech, that was the most important part of the tale," Kuohu said with a chuckle. "In the meantime, I'm sure we've kept Lord Guardian James and Lady Healer-Guardian Laurel away from their duties long enough. Shall we entrain for our trip to Bokutô Fortress so Randy can be with his kin as quickly as possible?"

"Of course!" Miyuki said. "Randy, let's go!"

"I'll catch up to you, Kobayakawa," Ken vowed. "My cycle's parked on the other side of the terminal building. I'll call Nikaidô to tell her you're coming in."

"Arigatô, Nakajima-kun," Miyuki said with a nod…

Nearby…

"What the hell do we do now? We couldn't get close to the kid to get him away from that cop while those aliens and the MiBs were there!"

"They're taking that truck to that cop's station," the large man in the black suit said as he glared at the sight of his target boarding a truck under the escort of three aliens and some lady who probably was another local cop. "We can get them to pull over on the highway to Tôkyô and get Randy then. Don't worry about it."

The driver jolted. "But that one alien girl was the one who was flying over Tôkyô not an hour ago! And I didn't even see her fly into the terminal to meet up with her friends! You want to try something around someone like THAT?!"

"Hah! Parlour tricks! Don't worry about it!" With that, the other man reached under his jacket to draw out the Glock 22 .40 calibre pistol. "Doubt she's bulletproof."

On television screens across Japan…

"An update concerning the arrival of an alien visitor in Tomobiki who is believed to be a very close friend of the Oni princess Lum," the NHK newscaster stated as security camera images appeared to the upper right of viewers' screens. "The first of three citizens of a star-spanning empire known as the Imperial Dominion of Noukiios has been positively identified by agents of the United Nations Special Committee on Alien Activities." Kyech's picture came up first, her name in Rômaji and katakana appearing underneath. "In our language, she is Re P'ye-ojôsama, addressed properly as the 'Lady Free Warrior K'ekhech' in her native society. Known as a 'free warrior' — the Noukiite equivalent of an American marshal from their Old West — K'ekhech-sama came to Earth after she learned that a sentient dragon — and it has been confirmed by the S.C.A.A. that such creatures do exist on Noukiios — from her world visited Earth five years ago and had an interesting encounter with the famous martial arts prodigy Ranma Saotome, currently living in Nerima Ward of Tôkyô…"

At a certain dôjô in Nerima…

"WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH! RANMA HAD AN ENCOUNTER WITH ALIENS! NOW THE SCHOOLS WILL NEVER BE JOINED! WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!"

Guess who that was?

"Oh, dear!" Kasumi mused as everyone watched the news. "I hope Ranma-kun wasn't too badly hurt by the dragon when he met up with it."

"Oji-chan, do you remember anything like that?" Nabiki asked Genma.

Ranma's father was shaking his head. "If this dragon was the same size as the creature Ataru Moroboshi called down on the idiots in Tomobiki, I would definitely remember it!"

Happôsai and Cologne were both puffing away on their pipes. "That might explain how powerful Ranma got when he dealt with Saffron," the latter mused.

"Indeed," the former stated. "I hope K'ekhech-dono can help him control that power."

A nod from the Nyûjiézú elder. "I sense she will, Happy. She did strike me as being quite determined to find Son-in-Law when she flew over Nerima earlier."

"True."

"You think this girl might take Ranma back to her planet to train him?" Nabiki asked.

Genma hummed, and then he nodded. "If she feels it right, I will not object."

"WHAT?!"

Eyes locked on a wide-eyed Nodoka. "What's the problem with you?" Happôsai demanded.

Ranma's mother shook her head as she stared at Genma. "You can't allow Ranma to go off with this alien to her home planet, Genma!"

"And why not?" Genma asked in return. "What if this contact between Ranma and this dragon came to affect him in ways we can't help him learn to control?"

"But Saotome…!" Sôun sobbed.

"Enough!" Genma snapped. "This woman obviously came with honourable intentions towards my son! I'm sure if we get the proper explanation from her, all will be made clear!" He turned back to the television. "Instead of leaping to conclusions all the time like you do so much, sit back and think about it!" He then stared knowingly at them. "Or would you care to anger my son to the point where whatever respect he may have for either of you vanishes and he decides to leave here once and for all?!"

Nodoka instantly turned into a statue as Sôun began to wail again. Watching them, the others could only shake their heads as they turned back to the television.

"According to the statement released by the Special Committee concerning K'ekhech-dono's coming to Earth, they are convinced that the contact between Saotome-san and this alien dragon will not seriously hurt him, but will make things dangerous for any of Saotome-san's known rivals in the so-called 'Nerima Wrecking Crew,'" the NHK reporter carried on. "Within an hour of K'ekhech-dono's arrival on Earth, two of her closest friends also arrived on Earth, landing on their ship at Narita International Airport not more than an hour ago." An image of a dragon-headed barque-like ship with swept-back solar-sail masts projecting over the top and the sides of the hull landing at Narita was shown. "Piloting this vessel was A Euch-ojôsama, the Lady Free Warrior Kachnuk; and her adopted sister, K'i Nuk-ojôsama, the Lady Free Warrior Kingch'eng." Pictures of them were then displayed. "They were accompanied, much to the surprise and delight of many people at Narita at the time, by Kingch'eng-dono's pet pig, Seuchsa." A picture of Randy Hammond feeding the giant pig at the terminal restaurant then was played. "As you can see, many took well to Seuchsa-chan…"

Kimitsu…

"Ne, Tariko?"

"Yeah, Ranma?"

"Did anyone ever tell you guys that Kyech is a blabbermouth?"

A sigh. "It's not Kyech, Ranma. No doubt, Kuohu must have told the MiBs as to why Kyech was here." Tariko then shrugged. "Besides, what's the problem? You're encounter with the loony dragon has been clearly stated over national media, which means that the Fûrinkan rumour mill won't distort it to Hell and back when you go to classes on Monday morning. Besides, there's no way in a million years that your father could have possibly engaged you to Kyech or any of the others, so any accusations from your 'fiancées' about her becoming a new fiancée won't wash! You can yell them down all you want and I can have Kyech be there to smack them down to make sure they get the hint." A snort. "Not to mention clueless morons like Kunô."

Ranma hummed, and then she nodded. "That's true."

"Is that a wise idea, Darling?"

Eyes locked on Lum. "What do you mean?" Tariko asked.

"Darling, don't you remember Morningstar Plain?" the Oni wondered. "When Kyech was surrounded by those bandits, she was swatting them away with the Cleaver at full strength. They found the body of one of them twenty kilometres away from where Kyech was standing! Do you really think all of Ranma's 'friends' would survive that?!"

"Hey, Lum, Ranma does that to Kunô all the time!" Tariko said with a smirk. "As for her 'fiancées,' do we REALLY have to care for them?!"

The Oni hummed as she considered that. "True."

A chuckle escaped from someone else in the room. "What is it, Ryofu-san?" Kôkin asked.

Hôsen and Kôdai had been seated beside Shimei as they enjoyed tea. "I still can't get over this one," the former said as she shook her head. "A dragon named 'Loony?'"

Everyone else in the room laughed…

"Currently, as being filmed by our aerial camera crew, K'ekhech-dono, Kachnuk-dono and Kingch'eng-dono, along with Seuchsa-chan, are riding on a truck loaned by the Special Committee for the occasion into Tôkyô," the reporter continued. "Driving the vehicle is Miyuki Kobayakawa-junsa of the Bokutô station of the Tôkyô Metropolitan Police, who befriended the three visitors from Noukiios after returning from forensics studies in Los Angeles." Miyuki's picture was displayed. "Also with them is the orphaned heir of the Hammond Group of Minnesota, Randy Hammond, age twelve." An image of Randy at his father's funeral in Minneapolis was then portrayed. "Randy-chan, who lost both his father George and his mother Miyuki not more than a couple of months ago, has come to Japan to unite with his maternal grandfather, whom he has never met. Kobayakawa-junsa befriended him on the flight from Los Angeles and, along with her co-worker Ken Nakajima-junsa, a motorcycle patrolman assigned to Bokutô…" Ken's picture was then shown. "…vowed to help him in his quest…"

Sumida Ward, Bokutô Police Station…

"Whaaaaa!" Yoriko Nikaidô breathed out as she gazed on the television screen, which was posted at one corner of the main work room. "Miyuki is so lucky! Meeting up with the young heir of a fortune and three of Lum-chan's and Tariko-chan's friends from outer space! Natsumi's going to be SO jealous when she hears about this!"

"Well, at least they seem to be very polite and formal about what they would desire with us," Aoi Futaba mused from her desk. Everyone, even the station chief, was watching the news. "It certainly is a welcome change from what's been going on in Tomobiki ever since Lum-chan first came to Earth."

Yoriko leaned down to stare at her friend. "Aoi-chan, you know why Lum-chan's done what she's done ever since she came here," she hissed.

A nod from the formerly — thanks to Tariko Moroboshi, a packet of Instant Niángnìquán powder and some ki-infusion thanks to Ranma Saotome — male vice undercover officer-turned-traffic patrolwoman. "Hai, hai, Yoriko. I know."

"Nikaidô."

Yoriko braced herself. "Kachô?"

The station chief looked at her. "Have all patrol units prepare to deploy back in the general area of the station," he ordered.

"Why?"

An intensive look crossed his face. "Something doesn't feel right."

Making the turn from the Shin-Kûkô Expressway to the Higashi-Kantô Expressway westbound at Narita interchange…

"I hope Seuchsa-chan doesn't mind the wind," Miyuki noted.

"Oh, don't worry about it, Miyuki!" Kyekkyek said as she allowed the open window to blow air into her face as the truck slid into the express lanes of the Higashi-Kantô as they travelled towards Chiba and the eventual intersection with the Keiyô Road for the final leg of the trip into Tôkyô itself. "When we travel around on Tengsei and he wants to exercise, I move him a lot faster than you're driving this flitter now."

Miyuki perked. "'Flitter?'"

"Our name for personal vehicles," Kuohu stated. She was in the back seat with Kyech while Miyuki did the driving, Kyekkyek had the shotgun seat and Randy sat between them. "But with us, they have the capability to travel both on ground and in the air, like those craft with the whirling blades you have here."

"Oh, you mean helicopters!" the policewoman said, and then she blinked. "Oh, my! You mean your cars can actually fly?!"

"For short distances," Kuohu replied. Out of the corner of her eye, she noticed that Kyech was glancing through the rear window past Seuchsa into the traffic behind them. "Longer distances use aircraft similar to the ones you use to move between continents here. Or, if it's more energy-efficient, shift them into space and move them to other parts of the planet via sub-light shuttles. We do our best to not harm the environment as much as we can. Improvements in technology have helped there." She then smiled. "Your people are on a similar path. I pray it's not too late for your environment."

"I never really thought about that," Miyuki mused, her voice tensing; she also had noticed the glances aft from Kyech. "Kyech-san, is something wrong?"

"We're being pursued."

"Huh?!" Kyekkyek demanded, and then she leaned her head out of the window as she looked back. "I don't see anything!" she yelled back into the cabin.

"The black vehicle directly aft of us," Kyech warned.

Miyuki glanced through her side rear-view mirror; Seuchsa's mass prevented her from using the mid-cabin mirror. "Who is…?" she wondered before her eyes widened. "Damn!" she gasped on seeing the person in the shotgun seat lean out the open window.

A gun in hand.

Several cars behind the truck…

"Damn it! That's not supposed to happen!" Ken snarled as he gunned his motor…

On television screens…

"Update on the situation on the Higashi-Kantô Expressway," the news reporter declared. "A black vehicle appears to be in pursuit of the truck bearing the three alien visitors from the planet Noukiios and young Randy Hammond, the heir of the Hammond Group who is in Japan visiting his grandfather. The camera crew just spotted a man leaning out of the vehicle with a gun he is now aiming at the truck." She then blinked as the image on the screen showed the gun firing. "Shots are now being exchanged."

At a restaurant near Tôkyô…

"Natsumi-san…?"

"You got a motorbike in your truck, right?"

"Well, y-yeah…"

Natsumi Tsujimoto bolted out of her seat and ran for the door. "Come on!"

Her driver blinked as the traffic officer ran off. "Wait a minute! Natsumi-san!"

Kimitsu…

"Whoever those jerks are pursing the girls, they just committed suicide."

Everyone turned to Tariko. "What do you mean, Onê-san?" Hiromi asked.

"Firing weapons in range of a kid?" Tariko said as she gazed on her sister, an icy smile on her face. "If there's one thing that riles up a Noukiite warrior faster than anything in the known universe, it's learning that a child is in mortal danger from some bandit." She shook her head. "And with Kyech AND Kuohu there…!"

"Darling?"

Tariko spun around to see Lum at the doorway. "Lum…?"

"C'mon!" the Oni beckoned. "We have to get over there to stop them before they turn this whole thing into a giant disaster!"

She flew out of the house. Tariko blinked, and then she raced off after her lover. "Hey, wait for us!" Ranma yelled as she and Hakufu raced off after them.

The others remained in place. "Oh, THIS is going to be fun," Shimei muttered…

On the Higashi-Kantô, now passing Tomisato interchange…

Randy gasped as Kyekkyek undid her seatbelt, and then literally slipped through the window to flip herself onto the back deck of the truck. "Kyekye-nêchan!"

"Don't worry about us, Randy!" Kuohu said as she moved to egress herself. "We do this all the time! You just stay down and keep covered! Kyech, stay with him!"

"Kuohu-san, please! Don't retaliate!" Miyuki warned. "You don't have…"

"Questions about that shouldn't matter now, Miyuki!" the Noukiite warned. "Besides, there are too many innocent people nearby! We need to get this somewhere remote!"

"Okay!" the policewoman said as she stomped on the gas.

The truck surged forward as Miyuki began to weave in and out of the mass of cars, transport trucks and other vehicles crowding the highway. Meanwhile, Kyekkyek, keeping her footing as she gripped the saddle straps wrapped around Seuchsa's flanks, was reaching into a long carrying case to withdraw her bladed polearm. Once the weapon was free and in her hand, she moved protectively in front of her mount, her weapon held out before her and glistening in the late afternoon sun. Seeing that, the shooter in the pursuit vehicle laughed as he took aim. "Stay out of the way, alien!"

"Hey! What are you doing?!" the driver yelled.

The Glock fired. Kyekkyek remained still, though her weapon became a blur as the loud sound of a bullet being deflected off by magically-hardened steel echoed through the air. "Good, Kyekkyek!" Kuohu said as she slipped out of the cabin to come up Seuchsa's left side to get at her own polearm, the Frost Blood Blade. "Deflect those projectiles away from the others and into the sky!" she said as she yanked out her weapon.

"Already on it!" Kyekkyek said as Kuohu took up her own position.

Seeing that these two aliens weren't going to make this easy, the gunman snarled as he aimed and fired again. This time, Kuohu deflected off the shot, sending it into the air where it would do no harm. Both kept at it as the bullets kept coming in. "Damn it! Get out of the damned way and give us that kid!" the shooter yelled.

"Cool down, man!" the driver said.

Some cars behind the chase scene…

"Damn! That's pretty good!" Ken whooped before tapping his helmet mike. "Nikaidô! Are you getting all this?! Where's the backup?!"

"Highway police are heading for you now, Nakajima-kun!" Yoriko called back from Bokutô. "Two units will be in range soon enough. Kachô's getting all our cars out so we can set up a roadblock if this gets all the way to the station! Stay in pursuit!"

"Roger that!" Ken yelled back as he gunned his motor.

"Hey, Ken!"

The motorcycle cop jolted on hearing that voice, and then he looked left and up to see an airbike keeping pace with him at three metres altitude over the roadway. "Lum-san!" he gasped on seeing the driver. "What are you doing here?!"

"We're here to help!" Tariko yelled back through a megaphone. "You stay behind us! Lum, Ranma and Hakufu'll make those creeps come to a stop!"

"Don't go too crazy!" Ken yelled back.

"Don't worry!" Ranma called out. "We do this all the time! Gun it, Lum!"

"Tcha!" the Oni whooped.

The airbike blasted off ahead. "Damn! She's a good driver!" Ken said with a laugh.

"Update on the chase on the Higashi-Kantô Expressway, now passing the Sakura interchange still inbound for Tôkyô," the reporter continued. "New people have just arrived on the scene. The Oni princess Lum has now come to assist her friends, accompanied by three other people, one of them appearing to be Ranma Saotome in his cursed female form. They just conversed with who is believed to be Ken Nakajima-junsa of the Bokutô police department, and then moved into position behind the pursuit vehicle. Again, it is unknown why this vehicle and the two men inside it are currently in pursuit of a truck bearing three visitors from the planet Noukiios and Randy Hammond, the young heir of the American Hammond Group…

The Mendô estate in Tomobiki…

"Otô-sama, we must assist Lum-san at once!"

"You will stay where you are, Shûtarô! All personnel are to stand down!"

"OTÔ-SAMA!"

The Moroboshi home…

"Oh, dear! I hope this doesn't turn out too bad," Kinshô stated.

Muchi nodded as both continued to watch the news.

Now past Sakura interchange…

"Shit!"

"What?!"

"Look behind us!"

"Wha…?" the gunman snarled as he looked behind the sedan…

…and then his jaw dropped in shock on seeing a strange motorcycle-like machine with two side cars on its flanks — and NO WHEELS keeping it off the ground! — right behind them, being driven by a green-haired girl in a bikini; a redhead riding behind her, a bullhorn in hand; a redhead in the right car, dressed in a tank-top and jeans; and a dark blonde girl in the other car, dressed in a T-shirt and jeans. Both the girls in the side cars had their hands aimed seemingly at his face.

And those hands were GLOWING!

"What the HELL?!" he screamed before aiming his gun…

"Hi, there!"

He looked to the sedan's right…

Just as a foot in a brown combat boot slammed hard into his face, shattering his glasses and knocking him towards the centre of the vehicle. As his arm was yanked in after his body, the wrist slammed on the door hard, making him drop his pistol!

"Natsumi!" Miyuki screamed on seeing her partner riding on a military cycle right beside the sedan through her rear view mirror.

Kuohu leaned into the cabin through the right rear mirror. "Now, Kyech!"

The redhead nodded before she disappeared. "Kye-nêchan!" Randy called out.

"Don't worry, Randy!" Kuohu assured him. "She'll be alright!"

"Damn!" the gunman snarled as he gripped the side of his head.

"Shit! We're surrounded!" the driver snapped.

"Indeed you are."

Both men perked, and then gasped as a HUGE double-bladed battle axe on a long pole then appeared between them, the steel on the blade seemingly ablaze with energy akin to Saint Elmo's fire, the blade now parallel to the ground below the car. The driver looked through the rear view mirror as the gunman snapped his head around to see a red-haired alien sitting in the back seat, as calm as could be, holding the weapon that — with one swing either way — could behead them both.

"Move the vehicle to the side of the road out of traffic and stop," Kyech ordered. "Do not do this and I will detonate the fuel tank."

Her eyes narrowed.

"I will survive. You will not."

The driver gulped as that blade began to close in on his throat. "H-h-hai!"

He quickly down-geared the car as he moved into the slow lane. "Hey!" the gunman snapped, and then he gasped as the blade swung close to him.

"Be silent," Kyech stated.

The gunman shakily nodded. "Hey, take it easy, lady!" the driver pleaded.

"Do as I say and you will survive."

"H-h-hai!" he said as he moved to get onto the shoulder.

Seeing that, the Noukiite nodded in approval. "A wise decision," Kyech stated.

Seeing the sedan pull onto the side of the road, Natsumi whooped as she gunned her motorcycle motor and raced on ahead. She could hear the sirens howling behind them; she had seen the two highway patrol vehicles come down from the nearest rest stop as she got onto the highway to help her partner. "Alright!" she whooped as she came up beside the truck. "Hey!" she yelled out. "Driver from America! Pull over!"

Miyuki looked over, and then looked at her rear view mirror to see the sedan now on the side of the road. Laughing with delight, she moved to get over to the side herself, Natsumi moving to follow her to safety.

Bokutô…

"Hey! What happened?!" Yoriko demanded as she watched the news coverage, now showing the sedan pulled over, Ken pulling up from behind on his motorcycle, the traffic police cars also pulling up behind and the airbike with Lum and company settling down front of it. "Why did they stop?! All Natsumi did was kick the gun out of the creep's hand!"

"It appears our visitors from beyond decided to assist us," the chief said.

Close to Yotsukaidô interchange…

"Alright, you two! Out of that vehicle, now!"

Immediately, the driver's side door opened and the driver came out, his hands up. "I surrender! I surrender!" he screamed as he moved away from the car, backing himself right into the sound barrier. "Just keep that crazy lady away from me! I surrender!"

"Huh?!" Ken asked before he looked inside the sedan to see someone sitting in the back seat, holding a huge battleaxe on a large pike with the blade right against the gunman's neck. He then chuckled. "Konban wa, Kyech-san! How do you like our cars?!"

A flash of light later, Kyech relaxed herself, standing beside the motorcycle trooper. By then, the traffic cops had dismounted themselves from their vehicles and were racing up, guns out and at the ready. "Too noisy and too much pollution," she said.
