Sixty-Six Hours Till Nyx Advent:
Earlier that day, the sun had of course risen over Nerima, as it had countless times before. Ealier that day, as countless times before, Coyote, otherwise known as Chaos, (no, not that Chaos, but close) looked upon the deceptively innocent looking Nerima and thought about how to amuse himself today.
"Let see, I could start out by making Akane's latest dish go from being bland to gut wrenchingly foul 'burn a hole in a battleship' horrid. Then I'll lead Lost Boy from simply going around in circles all day trying to find his own rear to bumping into Ranma and Akane at JUST the right sun glare to make it look like they're kissing... seems a bit generic: hmm, I KNOW! I'll have Akari stumble on Ryoga swearing how much he loves Akane, utterly destroying any chance Pig Boy and Pig Girl could ever have of getting together! Healthy relationships are BORING!" Coyote from his perch on the roof of the School of Anything Goes floated backwards laughing his head off until his sides hurt.
Coyote put his paw to his chin, "Speaking of which, I think it's about time I stopped toying with the idea and threw some more ladies into Ranma's life, like say eight or ten. Okay, so two are underage, and another two are a lesbian couple, pst, as if I've ever let elements like THAT stop me! I better make sure that Darien, Mamoru, or whatever guy gets run over by a truck. Or did I have him take a trip half-way across the ocean already? Hard to keep track some times, oh well! Sorry Chad, sorry ESPer boy whose-name-I-shall not-bother-to-remember, I'll see that you both win an expenses paid trip to Somalia or somethin'. As for that Satsuna or whatever, I'm gonna enjoy watchin' her squirm as she tries to undo my fun, and me makin' stuff worse just to drive her even MORE crazy! It's almost too bad her planet gettin' demoted didn't cause her to lose her powers as a Sailor, oh well, just means I get to torture her more!" Coyote laughed himself stupid again. "Ha! As if anything, anywhere could EVER keep me from EVER getting what I want!"
Even when one rules fate, one should not tempt thy subject.
"Hello." Said the most perfectly calm and friendly voice imaginable.
Coyote's body frozen mid motion, and his eyes slowly turned towards the source of that voice... he took one look, did the wild take of wild takes that would have made Tex Avery green with envy, and ran away screaming: and kept running, and kept screaming, until he was clear out of the solar system.

In the world between worlds, the Guardian of the Great Seal asked the Nyx Avatar over a pair of cokes, "So he just ran away without so much as a hello?"
The black haired and blue eyed boy answered the blue haired and dark eyed boy, "Pretty much yes."
"Rather surprising." Said the Guardian of the Great Seal, the Great Seal of course being himself.
"Not really." Nyx's Avatar replied, "Chaos, by any other name, thrives on conflict, confusion and discord: peace is the last thing it wants, and death, for good or evil, is the final peace."
"Ah, thanks for dropping by."
"No problem."

Fifty Nine Hours and Fifty Nine Minutes to Nyx Advent:
'Okay, something very weird is going on,' Ranma, 'First Akane cooks something that doesn't open a hole in time and space and/or didn't try to eat us. Second, Ryoga didn't pop out of nowhere to strangle me for breathing on Akane. And THIRD Mariko Konjo managed to distraction Kuno this morning from 'saving' Akane from the 'foul sorcerer Ranma.' Ranma shivered, 'And water hasn't seemed to veer out of it's way to splash me at all today!' Ranma shuddered, 'The weather man said it wasn't going to rain today, so why do I get the feeling something really really bad is about to happen?'
