Ranma groaned as he sat up and picked some splinters from his clothes. Dammit, he mentally cursed, she musta hit me really hard this time. Looking around, the pigtailed martial artist noticed that he was at the bottom of a dry well. When he looked up, however, he saw that the shrine the well had been in was gone. Curious about this, Ranma tried to stand up and jump from the well only to have a sharp pain shoot up his leg from his ankle. "Fuck!" He hissed in pain, dropping back to the bottom of the well.
To her surprise, the voice answered. "D'ya think you could give me a hand? Normally, I'd just jump outta here, but I seem to have screwed up my ankle."
Thinking quickly, Sango lowered Hiraikotsu into the well, "Grab onto this, I'll pull you up," she instructed. There was a tug of added weight to her weapon and she pulled it up and out of the well. Soon, the brunette overbalanced and fell backwards as a young man wearing odd clothes and with black hair in a braid behind his head sandwiched the Hiraikotsu between the two of them. "Are you okay?" Sango asked him as he rolled off of her and the giant boomerang.
"Let's see... my ankle's messed up... I feel like I crashed through a roof, heck, there were wood splinters around me when I came to... I don't know where I am... I think I'm perfectly fine," the martial artist said dryly. "I'm Ranma Saotome, sorry 'bout this..."
