"Hotaru get away from him he's a demon!" Haruka shouted decking the horned boy a good one while grabbing her daughter.
"Oww! What the hell man!? I'm a Tiefling not a fricken Demon!" he shouted as Hotaru squirmed out of Haruka's grip and was back by his side.
"Are you okay Ash?" she asked.
"It'll take more then a punch to the back of the head to kill me cutie don't worry." He squinted as a sudden nearby light show erupted and then had to tilt his head back as a sword was suddenly under his chin.
"Let. Go. Of. Her." Haruka snarled at him.
"My hands are on the ground, I haven't done anything to deserve this shabby treatment." he said slowly narrowing his glowing orange eyes at her.
"Yea right. You're just some sort of monster trying to ruin her life like all the other creatures have. I won't let you hurt her." Haruka said tightly.
"That's nice when something threatens her I'll tell you." Ash hissed at her.
"Haruka-poppa no." Hotaru said putting her hand on the sword and wincing a little as it cut her a bit, Haruka lowered it. "Ash please be polite." she said and he sighed but nodded all the same.
"What are you?" Michiru asked and he sighed.
"A Tiefling, basically one of my ancestors a woman named Beryl I think, made a deal with demons and the whole family was cursed for it till the end of time. I know what you are, you're the Senshi as is Hotaru." he said with a warmth coming into his voice when he said her name. "And before you jump to anymore conclusions we met a couple months ago when she found me broken and bleeding in an ally because the illusion that I was fully human wore off and a small mob decided I needed to die. I decided I needed to repay her so I bought her a gift and it just happened from there. That and the fact she's cute certainly helps." he said getting cheeky at the end and Hotaru blushed.
"Wait so..."
