It was a disturbing sight.
Kodachi's aura was...fractured. That was the only way he could describe it. There were two distinct parts.
The outer persona, which was characterized by either amused condescension or enraged arrogance depending on her mood, and the inner persona which was encased within a sphere of mental walls.
She was only minimally present within her body.
On the plus side, with what he was reading from her memory was correct, that fact had probably saved her psyche from utter destruction.
A psychologist might have claimed, from this description, that Kodachi was a multiple personality sufferer with a protector personality that never left control. It wasn't accurate, however, there was no split, there was a construct that Kodachi had built around herself.
"What are you a doctor of, may I ask," Kodachi asked.
"Psychology among other things," Theo said. "I'm going to try something, Miss Kuno. Would you mind relaxing and closing your eyes for a moment?"
"Well, I suppose," Kodachi said shrugging and doing as asked, confident in her ability to defend herself. Theo concentrated and cast the spell to slip quietly into her mind to see what was behind those walls without shocking her.

Kodachi was sitting in her room and quietly regarded her reflection in the mirror. There were no more distractions on her mind now, the last door was closed. She couldn't remember why she had left it open so long. All that noise and fuss, it wasn't fitting that a lady of rank should have to put up with it.
The reflection Kodachi saw in the mirror, and the image she held, would not have been recognized by most of the Nerima group. Her skin was a healthy tan, her eyes lacked the bloodshot look of a cornered animal, and she was dressed in shorts and shirt. Not really lady-like, but this she was around the house, so it didn't matter. The important thing was, and she didn't consciously consider this, there were no scars to cover with cloth or makeup. Her hair hung loose over her shoulders as she walked to her bed and laid back with a content sigh.
She sighed happily at howˇ¦howˇ¦her brother would be so proud of her. She was beautiful, educated, and talented. There was no better gymnast than her in the area, and she was popular.
She reached up and patted at her hair and frowned for a moment. Then the blonde hair turned black and her pointed ears rounded and became human. She had to be pretty for her brother, after all.

Theo stepped back into his own body and considered. Among everything else he found in Kodachi a potential to be a great healing mage. That explained how she was able to shelter herself this way without any training.
