Chained World Ninja: Blessed Vision [Episode 227264]

by Kestral

One of the major reasons that Neji Hyuga and Ranma Saotome did NOT get along was Neji's knowledge of the Blessed Vision technique possessed by Ranma. It was a banned technique as it emulated the Byakugan of the Hyuga family. With it, one could utilize the Hyuga Gentle Fist martial art technique, could see through obstacles and see at a distance. One could do many things with it, though the wielder burned through their chakra much faster than a Hyuga would.

However, the two were not the same. It was possible with Blessed Vision to select a single aspect to manifest, and THAT would still burn chakra but at a slower pace. Nor did it give him that near-360 degree vision. Ranma kept his selectability refinement secret as one of his little secrets to pull out whenever it was really necessary. Neji was angry enough about someone knowing just the basic emulation anyway.

Shadow Clone was useful in that he could make a duplicate of himself and learn techniques and train faster. Always handy, though he usually just made one or two clones that he could sustain for some time.

Spirit Bullet allowed him to fire off a chi projectile that was pretty much the ninja equivalent of a bullet from a sniper rifle.

Then the final of the 'banned' techniques he'd learned from that scroll. A supercharged healing/recovery jutsu which had a number of effects - at least one of which was that when he was really injured or exhausted the jutsu clicked on in some sort of survival instinct. Renewal had a bad side effect though, in that he drew chakra into himself from nearby sources.

Looking over Isaribi, he could see the complex network of chakra points, and something like a switch. Hit that switch and she'd begin transforming to her other form. The problem was that the whole thing was complicated and he'd need chakra later to fight and defend himself.

Maybe Neji could do something about this, but Ranma had his doubts.

"So we've beaten the second team that Orochimaru sent after us," said Genma. "That means that next time he'll either come himself or use an elite unit."

Might Guy frowned. "It wouldn't surprise me if he sent more 'experiments' at us first, just to test out their combat abilities."

"I could see that," said Genma thoughtfully.

"Shadow Clone," said Ranma, making a duplicate of himself to scout ahead.

Amachi checked again. "They've been defeated. In less than five minutes? Intriguing."

"You are not unhappy with the loss of your experimental subjects then?" asked the bird handler.

"No, not when we have such... perfect specimens yet to throw against them," said Amachi, indicating the cage. "Have one of your birds drop a summoning scroll on them the next time they come to a stop. It'll give them a nice reunion with a member of their precious Leaf Village."

"They apparently caught Isaribi alive and some kunoichi is torturing her for information," said the bird handler. "At least that's what I could find out through brief glimpses through my birds' eyes."

"She is of no import, kill her as soon as you get the chance," said Amachi.

"Just kill her?" The bird handler made a face. "What about all the time you spent with her?"

"She's just another experiment, and your squeamishness is going to be your downfall," said Amachi distastefully. "Don't let Orochimaru-sama see that or he may order experiments on YOU."

The bird handler left, taking the scroll indicated by Amachi.

Amachi stopped in front of the cage, smiling at the answering growls and snaps. "Yes, a nice reunion. You might even have known them before that little experiment."

Glaring back at him was what was left of:
