Ranma patted himself. He was still male. As he was male when the wish was made, his cursed form might not be hit with the behavioral patterns.
The last glimpse of Happosai had been of a busty blonde bimbette - so he probably wasn't going to be all that happy when she got out.
However, Ranma's wish to know kicked in and he realized his cursed female form:
