As the dust cleared, it became easier to survey the damage... and see who had apparently caused it. But that didn't make it easier for them to identify the person, as he was wearing a full suit of armor that even went over his face. For the most part, it looked like something a samurai would wear, but then again, it fit way too close for that sort of thing. Besides, there weren't as much of the usual sorts of armor plates, and on top of that, the mask he wore seemed to be based on a tengu, or something like that.
Not that he seemed all that intent on hiding at the moment, as he stood with one hand held out and his sword held over his head, parallel to the other arm. "Yoshimitsu... has arrived!"
"Obviously," Nabiki grumbled, eyeing the damage. "You certainly made a spectacle of it."
"Such was not my aim, as the course of retribution has drawn me here."
"Then you have come to hurt my family, huh?!" snarled Asuka.
"Only if you are related to one bearing the name of 'Saotome'."
"Huh? What did you do?"
Catching the redhead looking his way, Ranma scowled. "Why would you think that I had something to do with this?!"
"Well, you did say that you had a lot of adventures, and he is looking for someone with your family name."
"Okay, that's true enough."
"Besides, who says that you did something to make this idiot come here?"
"I am no fool!" the newcomer snapped, wriggling his head in disgust. "Although acting so blatantly is not my style, I must act quickly!"
"But do you have to do it at my house!" Taki ground out, stepping out into the yard with her hands on her weapons.
"Taki? This would be your abode. It was not my intention to damage your home."
"You'd better not."
Shampoo held up a hand and pointed at their visitor. "Big sister, you know this outsider?"
"Something like that. Our paths have crossed a couple of times before. This is Yoshimitsu, of the Manji Ninjitsu clan. Mainly a thief, but he'd be more likely to steal a treasure and hand it out to the poor than to keep it for himself."
"Sound nice. But what he doing here?"
"That's what I'd like to know. So why are you here, Yoshimitsu? Have you come to hurt my new Master?" the demon slayer growled.
"Oh, thou hast gotten a new master?" asked Yoshimitsu.
"Yes, my father's decided to secure my future, and gave me over to Ranma Saotome."
"Ah, that is good for thou," the Manji warrior commented. "But he is not the one that I seek."
"You are you after then?" Rei asked.
"Why, a scoundrel most foul, of the name of Genma Saotome."
"He's after Master's father?!" Asuka yelped.
"Just why would he be...." Nabiki began... and then scowled as she recognized that one of their guests was missing. "Where did Genma go?!"
With a bright smile on her face, Kasumi nodded off towards the side. "Why, he is creeping off that way."
Everyone else turned to look to see the bulky behind of Genma Saotome as he literally tried to crawl away from what was going on. It took him several long seconds to recognize that he'd been spotted, but even then, he had to look over his shoulder to confirm that he'd been seen. Once he did though, he gave off a squeaky nervous laugh and started sweating nervously as he tried to look nonchalant.
"Genma Saotome, your retribution is at hand!" Yoshimitsu cried out, stomping a foot down.
Frowning a bit, Nabiki held up her hands in a 'time out' gesture' "Hold on a second. What exactly did he do?"
Their visitor was silent for a few moments before making a comment. "He is one who must be paid back for what has happened, for he has:
