The War of Light, an event in the DC universe where the former single Lantern Corps (The Green) were expanded on the light spectrum into an emotional one. Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, Indigo, Violet... Rage, Green, Fear, Willpower, Hope, Compassion, and Love. Even the emotionless death held the power of the Black Lanterns.
What if an anime was used like One Piece? What if when Luffy was pushed away by Kuma, he crossed through a dimensional Void into a DC Universe in the middle of the war and gained a ring or two? Like say a Green Lantern ring, before being returned to the land of Amazon Lily? How would this effect Monkey D. Luffy's chances of saving his brother or making it to One Piece to become the Pirate King?
What if Tsukune had gained a ring during his time at Youkai Academy? Does he have the Will for a Green one, Compassion for a Indigo one or perhaps his pure soul is the rare male soul suitable for a Violet ring of Love? What would happen if a Youkai was to gain a ring, how would it affect their powers and abilities?
These rings held the power of a Aladdin's Lamp, limited by the emotions and control the user has. So it could be an useful too for several characters, such as Ranma Saotome and his companions. Obvious lanterns and colors soon appear. Akane the Red Lantern, Nabiki the Orange Lantern, Kasumi of the Indigo Tribe or was that the Star Sapphires and their Violet Light? Kodachi's laughter alone would make her a member of the Sinestro corps Yellow Lanterns.
A Shinigami with a power ring? What affects would happen if Ichigo Kurosaki gained a Green Ring, given his will and determination, why should not he be a good recruit? Orihime Inoue in a Star Sapphire Uniform or one from the Indigo Tribe's garments... a possible the distraction for Ichigo. Who would be a better Sinestro then Aizen?
Or what of the hundred other anime which could due with an infusion of Green Lantern goodness into their story lines. Oh My Goddess, Sailor Moon, etc...
